I also really like the sound of this song (and not trying to ruin things for ya), but instead of avoiding our questions and issues, shouldn't we face them? Like, "When it's too much, got me feeling so scared, yeah", yes things are scary, but aren't they also true? True that we're gonna die one day? That we could've chosen the wrong person to be with? That we could be wrong "living in the moment"? ... or maybe I'm just a nutjob :)

i think she said this is about doing things without thinking twice like its the end of the world. it also kinda sounds like its about SOPHIE so that might be the reason why it sounds a lil bit bittersweet

Don’t worry, no need to stress. There will be tough times, but so many more amazing things are gonna happen for you after high school I promise. Life is so vast and although it’s short it’s very long too. High school feels like a huge piece of the puzzle, but the further you get away from it, the piece is revealed to be much smaller.
