I feel like Super7 represents early SpongeBob and Nendoroid represents modern SpongeBob 🧽

Old SpongeBob had an more darker and washed out colors, smaller Pupils.
New SpongeBob is brighter, has bigger pupils

Old spongebob wasn't a perfect parallelepiped, both represent the new one, older had even more green on his sides
The nendoroid has better proportions for a toy while the Super7, while animation accurate, reminds me of a spongebob mascot costume. He's too large while Nendoroid can scale better with other action figures.
That's a good point.
Super7 definitely looks more like it's straight out of season 1, while the nendo looks more like it's from the Sponge on the Run movie.

I like that the super 7 has no seams on the sides of Bob's head.
Also, I bought the super 7 for my 8 year old, and all the small parts in the smaller Bob would disappear quickly.
I am glad there are two choices so you have one for kids and one for "adult" collectors. ✌️
In my opinion the left one is old SpongeBob like season 1 to 3 and the nendroid one is every season after

At first, I was worried the SpongeBob nendoroid would be low quality due to not having a lot of accessories. But, seeing it now in this video is making me consider of buying one for my younger sister who is SpongeBob fan.
Though some don't come with as many accessories, Nendoroids are still high-quality figures. I personally own the Beam Kirby, and it's fantastic!
Good smile makes cool stuff, I got a figma miku figure and it had pretty nice articulation.

The Nendroid is perfect for 1/12 scale toy photography and I only wish it had two more faces or the Jellyfish net like the Super7.
The nendroid one better, super 7 should be $35.
oddly enough, I feel like Super7's accesories, aside from Gary, suits quite well with Nendoroid's. Especially Bubble Buddy, being that he was bigger than Spongebob and not the other way around
I prefer the standard look of the Super7 one, but the Nenderoid version eclipses it in every way. Better accessories, more expressive, better paint job, better size (imo at least), and it's somehow cheaper. No doubt about it, go with the Nenderoid one. Hopefully they make figures for Patrick, Squidward, Sandy, and Mr. Krabs in the future

I think it’s just the eyes. The shine and outline on the eyes are what sell me on the nendo more 6:08

I'll probably stick with the Nendo but Super7's looks great too. I do wish their prices were a bit lower though; Good Smile is releasing each member of the main cast one by one it seems (already got Patrick pre-ordered) and if you collect as you go it isn't as much of an investment as getting each member of the cast for 60 bucks, plus Patrick is a little cheaper so hopefully they don't all make you break the bank.
The super7 SpongeBob and sandy figures are both on sale on Amazon. SpongeBob’s ~$50 and Sandy’s ~$30 now, which I think are better prices for them
@puggysmall3136 Maybe I'll consider it, but I don't know. I'll probably just wait for their 03 TMNT figures and hope they're not too expensive and don't have any QC issues

Super7 does have more charcters so it is worth it for Super7 SpongeBob if you are just into collecting SpongeBob items since Nendoroid only has SpongeBob currently while Super7 has Sandy, Patrick, and Squidward in addition to SpongeBob

I feel like super7 is better but its still too expensive. Its constantly being discounted everywhere, which is a common theme i've noticed with that company. I've purchased a few power ranger stuff from them only to have it go on sale literally a month after release 30~50% off... which is a big slap in the face to your consumers who purchase it on pre order. Well, aside from that, they also have a lot of QC issues in paint details and breakages (I had one figure with a broken arm, another with paint on his teeth) So I feel most of my neondroids have never had issues like that, so they are better in that dept. They are too cutesy for me though, I like the super7 here if you can find it at a decent price and not broken or w/QC issue

In my inponion I think the good smile sure super 7 looks more classic but he’s too big and too expensive
It’s reminds me of the Battle for bikini bottom version (rehydrated or whatever)
If i were to get a Spongebob Figure (For some reason) i'd get the nenderoid ngl, i collect 6 inch figure and i feel the Nenderoid would fit the scale better since having a Giant Spongebob of 10 inches next to a 6 inch adult man would just, not look good
