Ken, whose reaction to Diana's death was a loud scream in the 1997 Diana video, is in black in this video on the left and talks briefly about that night. They're both black but it looks like his 1997 shirt is short-sleeve with a couple of buttons. 2011's is long-sleeve with no buttons (higher neck).

I'd love to and maybe someday I can get us all together again. It would be easy to round Ken and Scott, they still live near me and we speak and see each other. The others moved away - I still keep in touch - it would just take effort for them to travel here to join us. Fingers crossed. It's not impossible!

I clearly remember Princess Diana’s death, my mom and I had just come back from A birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. At first I Thought she survived but then it turned out she later died.

Allegations agaisnt michael jackson date back to 1993, michael jacksons death is compared to diana because in his time, he was the biggest star in the world by far and his death received as much coverage as Diana's if not more.
Farrah died the same day as Michael Jackson. Her death was reported in the morning and Michael died later that afternoon and as soon as he died no one talked about Farrah's death anymore. That was in June of 2009. When Diana died, I had been out to dinner with some friends. When I got home it was all over the news. I was super shocked and deeply saddened. Her death probably shocked me more than any celebrity's death that I can recall with the possible exception of Whitney Houston.

Wow the Diana reaction video is such a fascinating glimpse into that time and especially before everyone had smartphones to record these moments. Truly amazing you have that video.
I was really young at the time, around 12 years old. Yet somehow I knew of Diana because who didn’t? She was a beautiful princess and otherworldly. I was so shocked when she died and I remember my mom being very upset. I think we all remember where we were which just shows what an impact she had on the world.
Thank you for sharing these videos. You all seem like really fun people despite the subject matter. May your friendships continue❤️

Well, that's interesting. Just saw the video when you guys played cards (Ist it called UNO in your country as well?) and the news of Diana´s death occurred. I have no idea why CZcams suggested me the video, but I like what the algorithm is presenting me usually. Now here you are, 13 years later and I wonder if you're still friend and what you look like. I wanna see you grow old of course as you haven't changed much from 1997-2011, which makes me jealous.
Thanks for the nice comment. Yes, we are all still ok and friends, though two have moved away to Chicago (about 4 hours away). We still keep in touch. We are about ready to have another game night now that Covid is fading. First game in 14 months. We ARE aging, Scott has gone grey, we've all gained a few pounds, Ken's having sinus problems and vertigo right now. Can't stop Father Time! Thanks again.

I'd love to but it would be difficult to get us all back together. Some live in another city now, and Ken (who screamed in the original 1997 video) won't use the internet and doesn't have a smartphone, nor will he leave his house due to Covid. That's a big obstacle. It's not a reunion without Ken.

I was jogging with my mom in the morning. We came back and I sat on the garden Terrasse to relax. Mom went in and suddenly she came back out and told me that Diana had died. 🙏🏽🖤

I think genetics has a lot to do with it. Ken's mom and dad both lived into their mid/upper 90s.

I live in the treasure state Montana and I was awake beading when I heard on the news that Diana Princess of Wales died and I cried then too. I watched the wedding of the Century at 5 a.m when Charles and Diana wed. Oh, and on August 16, 1977 the world mourned Elvis Presley when he died. I was 12 and I cried then too. I cried when Michael Jackson died too!

Thanks for wanting one. It would be difficult, but not impossible. Maybe someday. Because of Covid Ken doesn't leave his house these days, and he can't Zoom. He doesn't have a computer (or smart phone) and he doesn't even use the internet, at all! He has a phobia about it. So that's the main obstacle at the moment. He lives alone. I call and talk to him on his landline phone every week or so.
