After sometime he had gained his senses and had said that he was carried and taken away by a Very tall man and kept him by the well asking him not to move and had gone away. This happened 20 mins from where I live and the story I have always been told was that he mentioned spending time with his grandfather that had died previously and that his grandfather gave him some berries and told him he wanted to watch tv. The cops and paramedics that were asked about what the boy said commented that they believe he was hallucinating due to stress, anxiety and lack of sleep/food/water.

When I was about 7 or 8 my cousin of the same age and I got lost up in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in Nor Cal while camping one summer. We were lost for hours and it was getting dark so we were scared to death that a bear or mountain lion might get us . But out of nowhere a little old lady came from the woods and said people were worried and had been looking for us for hours. As we were walking back with the lady I noticed she was covered in lady bugs and I couldn't figure out how she would be covered in lady bugs but just kept quiet. She walked us to the road enterance to the campground and said goodbye. We walked into the campground and both of our Moms were livid and Said that my uncle and stepdad were out trying to find us. I wondered for years about the lady covered in Lady Bugs and often thought my cousin and I had been found by some angel or ghost. And then I found out that lady bugs are harvested up in that area and that lady had actually been a real person who was a school teacher and harvested lady bugs as a side business. She was alive until the early 2000s . I wish I could have thanked her as a adult

Nope she was very real and very kind. It was as if she came out of nowhere. I never really believed in Slender Man until a couple of years ago when I travelled back to the remote jungles of PNG where I grew up. We visited the tribes still living there and together, we trekked up the nearby hill to see the ruins of the house where I grew up. While there, they told me that legend has it an unnaturally tall, skinny man lives in the jungle and tries to lure people away. For that reason, most villagers would normally never set foot on that hill. These are remote living people with no access to phones, internet or television. Other than myself and my parents, they have not been visited by westerners in close to 40 years. So the probability of them knowing about 'slender man' from any source other than their own experiences is extremely unlikely.
I can recall a time where I believe I saw him personally (slender) I was in the 6th grade, and me and my brothers walked to school often in the early mornings (about 5:30am) I use to walk slower then my brothers so I often was left to walk on my own, well it was the same as any morning where I was walking behind my brothers, slowly as normal, and I thought I heard something behind me, I turned around and there was this tall dark figure under a lamp post, terrified of what it was I ran after my brothers, after catching up with them I looked back, and there was nothing there Honestly the most terrifying thing to have happened to me then, and still terrifying even looking back now

In 1999 my mother and my younger brother went to Sears back when the mall was for regular shopping. After a few minutes my mother realized she couldn't find my brother. A massive search party was launched. A few hours later as the mall began closing someone found him. He was in the back prep area of Auntie Ann's pretzels eating old pretzels from the trash. As soon as my mother and I were led to him he starts crying hysterically. He explained in great detail that two astronauts made him get on a spaceship and when it launched he jumped out and hid in the pretzel place that my mom said we couldn't get a pretzel at and the trash pretzels smelled "so so so tasty tasty" that he didn't even realize he was eating the trash pretzels. He tried to take us to the astronauts space ship but he said he had "pretzel brain". The most frustrating part is that the astronauts got away.
Hey it is true me, my brothers and parents were there around time kid went missing. And of course freaked my parents out and they were telling us to stay close about every 5 minutes or so, then my little brother was not in sight. It took us about half an hour but we finally found him and he said a man came up from behind him and started waving for him to follow, my brother did for a minute then like snapped out of it and started running back down to us

Story time about my faceless man encounter, so when I was 15 I fell asleep on the couch in my living room, I woke up to go get some water, the water felt very refreshing and real, I turned around to go lay back down and this man who had a shadow face, all black no facial features, the only things that I could see on him were his clothes, I got so scared I woke up a 2nd time same spot, thinking "it was just a bad dream", I turned over to lay on my back and I see a pair of hands that were latched onto my couch I looked up and the man was leaning over my couch with his head look directly at me, I than woke up a third time and launched my self across my couch, pulled my blanket over my head and cried not knowing if I was awake or not.
When i was 6 i was on the couch when I closed my eyes and dreamed as if I was asleep but fully awake hard to explain never happend again. But basically I was dreaming fully while awake and I was in an infinite white void walking with a tall all black shadow figure walking in front when he turned around and grabbed my hand and I felt my hand being grabbed in real life but I was alone

I never really believed in Slender Man until a couple of years ago when I travelled back to the remote jungles of PNG where I grew up.
We visited the tribes still living there and together, we trekked up the nearby hill to see the ruins of the house where I grew up.
While there, they told me that legend has it an unnaturally tall, skinny man lives in the jungle and tries to lure people away. For that reason, most villagers would normally never set foot on that hill.
These are remote living people with no access to phones, internet or television. Other than myself and my parents, they have not been visited by westerners in close to 40 years. So the probability of them knowing about 'slender man' from any source other than their own experiences is extremely unlikely.

I can recall a time where I believe I saw him personally (slender)
I was in the 6th grade, and me and my brothers walked to school often in the early mornings (about 5:30am)
I use to walk slower then my brothers so I often was left to walk on my own, well it was the same as any morning where I was walking behind my brothers, slowly as normal, and I thought I heard something behind me, I turned around and there was this tall dark figure under a lamp post, terrified of what it was I ran after my brothers, after catching up with them I looked back, and there was nothing there
Honestly the most terrifying thing to have happened to me then, and still terrifying even looking back now

The short:
In 1999 my mother and my younger brother went to Sears back when the mall was for regular shopping. After a few minutes my mother realized she couldn't find my brother. A massive search party was launched. A few hours later as the mall began closing someone found him. He was in the back prep area of Auntie Ann's pretzels eating old pretzels from the trash. As soon as my mother and I were led to him he starts crying hysterically. He explained in great detail that two astronauts made him get on a spaceship and when it launched he jumped out and hid in the pretzel place that my mom said we couldn't get a pretzel at and the trash pretzels smelled "so so so tasty tasty" that he didn't even realize he was eating the trash pretzels. He tried to take us to the astronauts space ship but he said he had "pretzel brain". The most frustrating part is that the astronauts got away.

Hey it is true me, my brothers and parents were there around time kid went missing. And of course freaked my parents out and they were telling us to stay close about every 5 minutes or so, then my little brother was not in sight. It took us about half an hour but we finally found him and he said a man came up from behind him and started waving for him to follow, my brother did for a minute then like snapped out of it and started running back down to us
The wilderness has long been full of creepy stuff, everything from crazy people to criminal activity to weird creatures & items to the paranormal. Disappearances & abductions are not unheard of. It’s best to avoid solo wilderness trips whenever possible.

Story time about my faceless man encounter, so when I was 15 I fell asleep on the couch in my living room, I woke up to go get some water, the water felt very refreshing and real, I turned around to go lay back down and this man who had a shadow face, all black no facial features, the only things that I could see on him were his clothes, I got so scared I woke up a 2nd time same spot, thinking "it was just a bad dream", I turned over to lay on my back and I see a pair of hands that were latched onto my couch I looked up and the man was leaning over my couch with his head look directly at me, I than woke up a third time and launched my self across my couch, pulled my blanket over my head and cried not knowing if I was awake or not.
