The way the riff in the acoustic passage resolves is seriously fantastic stuff. It has a whimsical or adventurous feeling to it that just adds more power to the bombastic ending.

Since the band is constantly changing their style (more or less) i have no idea what to think about the new stuff. I mean you could put a a different band name on it and i wouldn't care.
So no, can't say if the music is good or bad. I have absolutely no idea.
