sir do you use hollow points for edc ? or just standard fmj ? if so what is compatible brand for hollow points .

Hey bud, go with Hornaday critical defense or critical duty hollow points for EDC. They're a great brand and my usual go to for EDC. FMJ for range time and practice but always carry hollow points when out and about. Be sure you train every now and then with your hollow points though.
I pack a RIA 9mm m1911a2 FS as a EDC
There's plenty of good choices nowadays, I personally carry 124 gr federal HST or 124 gr Speer Gold dot. I've noticed my gun perfers hotter loads, punt loaded ammo like remingtion umc 115 gr or wolf 115 gr steel case tends to have weak ejection. Federal 115 gr or 124 gr had enough charge to eject right over my shoulder instead of filling up my breast pocket. Generally speaking make sure to ensure the gun is well lubed, free of dust or lint and feed it stout ammo and you should be fine.
