South Africa may be the favorites on their home turf, but as an Ireland supporter, I see reasons for optimism. For starters, our teams are no strangers to South African pitches and conditions having gained ample experience in those venues and amidst the fervent local fandom. Moreover, being underestimated by pundits, both domestic and South African, could play to our advantage. Ireland, having not quite embraced the mantle of the top-ranked team previously, thrives as the underdog. It's a role that suits us uniquely, and with all these factors, I believe Ireland is poised to make a strong impression. However, it will be very hard and if we win both tests it will surely be our greatest achievement to date.
Jack Crowley has performed well since coming into the Irish team. I think he can hold his own. I'd be more concerned about the absence of Gibson Park & Hugo Keenan. To beat SA in SA without your very best players is a strong ask, but here's hoping. Come on Ireland 🇮🇪.
As a Springbok fan, I have this nagging worry going into these tests....simply because when the Boks are expected to win they don't, and when they're expected to lose, they win.
i think people are starting to underestimate the irish, it has been a 50/50 between these two for how long now with ireland on average walking out with the better of that, so i don't see how the irish just get hamerred, from one bok perspective
I’m Irish and an optimist.. tho being realistic I can only see SA win both games .. think we will see that Ireland going to badly miss GP & Keenan .. optimistically, at best Ireland cud draw the series but that’s wind in their backs etcetc .. so agree with yr prediction..
Ireland are on a slight downward from the best ever Irish team (90% there still). The Boks are 75% of the best Bok team ever. Ireland beat the weakest All Blacks team in NZ history. Home ground advantage will be the difference. The Boks have lost more matches to Ireland that they should have won in the past.
I’m an All Blacks fan. Never hated the SA fans. We love a rivalry in sport, but in rugby it’s always been Australia first then SA. Lol …. A lot of Saffers live here in NZ. So they are all good from what I’ve experienced?

True bro 👍 think it'll be close. You reckon the Irish might thump the boks in the 1st test?

Time will tell ! Eek don't get me started on the AB's performances in the last 4 years ... 😫
Paddy and the Imports will struggle, hopefully Boks have moved on from their Bafana Bafana impression.
Ohh shut up and enjoy they game eh

Irish won't win first test, it's too much to ask after traveling. The boks will be over confident the second test, that's when they will have a shot.
Mate - will be a brutal series!!
SPRINGBOK will take this One to revenge a game pool Springbok have something to prove than Ireland
Yea - they'll be hungry after the RWC pool game!
Bokke 🏉 30.... Ireland 19
