So after years of duskblade and stealth resets being unhealthy for the game...we get a champ with built in stealth resets yay!
better than hard cc but still can be game changing only in team fights, she needs a takedown atleast, Idk about her W cooldown I hope we dont have another Shaco in the rift
Duskblade stealth was strong because it was an assassin item. The stealth on aurora doesn’t seem super impactful compared to it
@@SCK-47 w is honestly just added padding to her kit, prob will only be used as get out of jail free card when getting ganked or dove, her q cooldown is 6 seconds with no cdr though and her e is an 80% slow level 1 so it wont be a shaco it will just be another tank destroyer probably. The invis reset is just unnecessary when she already has so much in her kit.
built in is something you can balance, items giving it to everyone is not. this is barely different from how khazix works too.

@@aswo6207If Aurora damages an enemy three times with her spells and attacks, she will perform an exorcism, dealing a percentage of the enemy’s max health as magic damage and freeing a spirit that will empower her healing her every second, and enter Spirit Mode, granting additional movement speed for a short duration. For every additional spirit following Aurora her bonus movement speed will increase.

@antoninhavlicek94 similar. She does damage, heals a little over time, and goes into a form that gives ms for a short duration. The more times she procs the passive while in form, the more the ms and heal build up. It seems like Lillia passive, but as a 3 hit instead of on every spell hit

unfortunatly , I was super hyped and excited for this champion, she doesn't seem to be a champion I would be maining.
no cc is a big hit, prob the major cc, for a mage to be played in mid lane, which on the flip side can be a good thing like Midbeast says, she prob wont be on pros; she might int your games a lot on release, her ult position requires a bit of masteries.
second prob is that.. she seems to have only one damage ability, outside of her ult, you prob shouldn't be spamming E, and it is only used under certain scenarios as well. shes gonna have a big problem against big beefy tanks imo

Tbh Aurora looks like a one-trick heavy champ with a low skill entry and what seems to be a high skill ceiling.
I hate playing against champion with stealth, so I will be banning her for a while after her release. Ty, Midbeast for letting me know.

To me, she doesn't really look broken. Range is too short, true invisibility is strong but she doesnt seem to hold solid and reliable burst to capitalise on it, her mobility is situationally useful, but nothing crazy, she has no solid CCs, ult may easily be more of an inting tool. She seems to be good to cleanup the fights, therefore team dependent.
On the other note, I'd see her build like Kaisa: two items on hit/attack speed then full ap, since her passive seems to be the most reliable part of her build for the most of the game.

I don't think this is broken since she seems to have very low damage. She seems more about being annoying and allowing your team to do the job / keeping the enemy out of battle.
However I wonder how good AS items like nashors are on her to make a better use of her passive which seems to have a lot of anti-tank potential. I think nashors + tanky/bruiser build could be way better on her than straight AP.
In any case it is nice to have an interresting yet simple champ for once.
She has the dmg, midbeans build isn't pure burst, her Q acts as a lee sin Q, doing more dmg on recast the lower they are. And multiple Qs can stack for massive one shot potential
Looks like a fair and balanced champion that will definitely not be played as a jungler

She looks like she is going to really struggle with survivability to me. Like how do ever get into a team fight without getting blown up. Her w duration seems pretty short
zhonyas, ult makes her unstoppable in animation , if she can use abilities in ult she can invis, but idk

I feel like she's going to be played almost like an assassin in team fights. Where you want to be last in the fight and land a big ult. Her w can go over walls so she might hide around baron pit and w over walls into ult then it's ggs. But only time will tell

I would be curious how conquerer/riftmaker/some tankier items would feel so you could weave in autos and frontline a bit more. With the 3 hit passive it seems like you need to be autoing.
Probably wouldn’t be the best but I’m not an expert. Her q and e abilities apply the auto attack stacks for her 3 hit passive to the enemy so you probably would not auto too much. The recast of q also applies a stack as well. She seems to be pretty mobility based so probably not best to build for bulk based off of w,e,r, and passive providing mobility effects

I dont get why Riot has such a fetish for reset mechanics. Reset mechanics on kill or assist is what makes alot of champs unbalance able

I feel like this ult should’ve been made for a battle mage no? Like didn’t riot say they were gonna make one forever ago I forget. I don’t understand a close range mage reset type of character. Especially since they took health out of mage items with the item update.. so like? Seems like you need engage or you are gonna die going in.
Basically this kit is confusing and makes no sense.. not because it’s hard to understand but because it doesn’t make sense together
