- This is an arrival into Los Angeles international Airport, also known as LAX. We did a connection with layover here at LAX before departing Los Angeles for San Diego.

LAX has 9 terminals including The Bradly Terminal that being the Intersection Terminal. Terminal 1 Southwest Airlines. Terminal 2 and 3 Delta. Then The Bradly Terminal that also has Hawaiian Airlines there. Then terminals 4 and half of 5 is American Airlines, half of 5 and all of 6 is for Alaska Airlines Frontier Airlines Jet Blue Air Canada and United, and terminals 7 and 8 is all United.

LAX has 9 Terminals, 1-8, and the Tom Bradley International Terminal. One way to tell what terminal you are in is to look at gate numbers. The 10s digit will tell you what terminal you are in. Terminal 1 has all gates in the teens range (and gate 9, 11-18), Terminal 2 has gates in the 20s, Terminal 3 has gates in the 30s, Terminal 4 has gates in the 40s, Terminal 5 has gates in the 50s, Terminal 6 has gates in the 60s, Terminal 7 (you arrive there) has gates in the 70s, Terminal 8 (you depart there) has gates in the 80s, and the TBIT has gates in the 100s and 200s.

What terminal did you arrive at? T8 is at the very end of the horseshoe. It's the last terminal and one of the last ones that will be renovated. Seems like you walked all the way from T4 to T8. The good thing too is that you didn't need to go through security again. That wasn't the case several years ago which was a pain. Interesting video.

Busy and tough airport to get in and out of, especially in a long limousine for guests. 🙏
Later this year the automated people mover, which one of the stops is to the new consolidated car rental facility, should make things easier. Even if you're not renting a car, this eliminates the tons of buses and vans that constantly drive around the terminal loop taking people to different car rental facilities.
Were your connection flights all domestic? I see you walking directly to the departure gate. don’t you need to redo the security checking?
Between San Diego and Los Angeles and vice versa, not many Californians take the airplane, but rather take the trains instead. However, some of them drive on I-5 which could also cause traffic since that portion of the interstate is 8+ lanes wide.
San Diego is building a big beautiful new international terminal called terminal 1. LAX also has been doing major upgrades including a new intl terminal
So I might be flying to LAX soon, are we allowed to have phones on the plane? How does that work?
You can bring phones just have to put it in airplane mode when it leaves the gate to fly
