  • Welcome watchers of Illusion to my castle of confusion!
The Turtles are BACK on the SNES for what is arguably one of the finest TMNT games of all time. Going into the Arcade route for the game, it's a joy to play and has that magic 2 player co-op mode that sparks even more enjoyment. With a kick ass sound track to boot, this game makes it as a Golden Score!
Kick back, grab a drink and a snack, sit back and enjoy the review!

Class game! Loved this on the SNES, really good conversion. Great review mate.

Also, as far as I know, this is the only home conversion of this title. Konami absolutely nailed it, too. Great review, man! A very worthy 10/10.

Ah yes... even though the Turtles themselves arguably haven't aged all that well (arguably eh!), this game is still marvellous. About time I gave it some well deserved play time. The Mega Drive game was almost as good though as I remember? Not quite there but still great.

I really loved this game and I played it a lot a few years ago.

Thanks Rod, it is such a playable game and if you grew up with the Ninja Turtles, it's a dream to play as the Shell backed heroes. Cheers for stopping by :D

I got this game when it came out, and sadly, I sold it to a pawn shop about two years ago, still in the original box, with the original instruction manual -- as close to mint condition as it could be. I got thoroughly ripped off. :'-(

Oh no! That sucks my friend. Not sure what a mint version would be worth these days, but pretty sure it would be a decent amount?

Hey, brother! Yeah, it sucked. A boxed copy with instruction manual goes for around $250 US. I got $200 for it, along with my SNES, three controllers, "Super Mario World" (the copy that came with the system), a boxed copy with manual of "Mortal Kombat," and loose copies of "Super Battletoads" and "Super Double Dragon." I was desperate and brought them to a pawn shop. I was planning on picking them up, but it got to a point where it would've cost about $350 and I just didn't have it at the time. Believe me, I regret that. It helps to just not think about it. :'-(

@@Fluoride_Jones Sorry for your loss, I know how much it stings having to pass up beloved Retro items believe me. When I moved into my lady's house, I sold a majority of my retro consoles/computers/games for half of what they were worth due to space issues more than anything...but she got me one of those all in one Raspberry pi built into a micro SNES unit.

What we're willing to do for love! I have the NES and SNES Classic consoles, so I have more games now than I ever did growing up (and I had a lot of games growing up), but it is nice to have the originals. Maybe I'll be able to build up a collection again in the future.
