Books with stories that take place between Star Wars episodes 3 and 4. Star Wars Lore is almost 50 years old. To have the ego to think you can change it and no one will complain is mind boggling. Ruining the story to push a woke agenda makes it even worse. We have movies that Kennedy has no control over because they came out long before she was put in charge. Good movies that created the version of STAR WARS we all know and love. There are DVD’s, Blu Ray disks, VHS copies, and they’re even on Disney Plus. She can’t change them. She can’t rewrite history or convince the fans that those movies never happened. They have many books that tell stories with Luke, Leia and Han, stories where they have offspring, books with Admiral Thrawn, books with stories that take place between episodes 1 and 2. Books with stories that take place between Star Wars episodes 3 and 4. Stories of Luke with his own Jedi Academy, etc. They would rather make stuff up as they go, then take a book that has sold tons of copies and use that for inspiration.

I think what Kathleen Kennedy hates the most about STAR WARS is that no matter how much she tarnishes the franchise in the present, she can’t change what happened in the past. Sure, she can release the Acolyte and Ahsoka, try and change the history of Anakin Skywalker and the Force, but she can’t stop the prequels or the original trilogy from existing. We have movies that Kennedy has no control over because they came out long before she was put in charge. Good movies that created the version of STAR WARS we all know and love. There are DVD’s, Blu Ray disks, VHS copies, and they’re even on Disney Plus. She can’t change them. She can’t rewrite history or convince the fans that those movies never happened. So, it really doesn’t matter what movies or shows she makes. Because no matter what she does with the twister version of STAR WARS she has, she can never take away the STAR WARS we have. She can’t stop us from rewatching the original movies any more than she can stop us from ignoring the new stuff she’s making. And that, I think, is what she hates most. Because we’ve already won the war, and she knows it.
I am not a super big SW fan but I like the lore and still watch lore videos. In my head canon, Disney SW simply doesn't exist, and nobody can force me to make Disney SW canon in my head.
