Jianhao tan is the best writer, the subtle tkne he sets are absolutely brilliant, all of the shots of vicky and madam soot beng, madam soot beng refers to herself as i, after the restaurant scene with vicky and her classmates, madam soot beng refers to herself as mommy, which is just hearbreaking to hear.

I always liked her as much as the other teacher (i forgot her name), but now after watching this, she definitely is better in my book!
I never cry when I watch something even when IT IS A MOVIE, cuz movie's are emotional asf- but this was a whole new level. I know im late to comment but I've watched this 3-4 times and it made me cry. When Amander tells she bought her brushes and all, she packed her luggage, that's when it got the most emotional. Hats off for Amander and her acting.

Absolute masterpiece!!! There are soo many takeaways from just one short film. The direction was neat, story telling was brilliant, the emotions were beautifully displayed and the cast did brilliant acting. This short film has a potential to be shown in theatres to mass audience just for its message. Thank you soo much for this film! It really connects to many!!
