I was in Odeasa many years ago. One of the most romantic city Odesa in all Ukraine 🇺🇦. Greetings from the beautiful Hawaii islands
I was born in USSR (Ukraine) but live in Minnesota now. This is a great video. I have been to Odessa many times as a kid. This video brings back lots of memories
That’s exactly why I’m going to Ukraine in March! For the first time in 13 years! I can’t wait! 😊
Ooo you're going to have a great time. Have fun!
@@AlinaMcleod I also visit Odessa next month
Hello
Hii
Alina,I'm from Ohio USA.been in Ukraine for 1 and 1/2 year.i love it here.spent time in Kiev .now in livi.livi is better.
yeah! ) and Odesa is the most expensive city in Ukraine. Even Kyiv is cheaper
by the way, tickets to Odesa opera start from 1-2 dollars, so you can go there on every singe show
and for future: you don't have to visit railway station to buy tickets, use website or application
before 6 years i pay 400 grivna for black berger there is now kinza georgian restoran.
then it was 40 euro for a burger!and sladosti for 300 grivna tiramisy!30 eyro.
the best burger in city cost only 120-150 in farsh burger in ekaterinskaya.
i pay 70 grivna in gorsady for astreet cofee from a mashine car!
i tell him in russia that 70 grivna i can dring koffe in cyprys and next to me is siting
the rishest woman in russia alsoy the singer!,in gorsady i seat next to bomz and babyskas xaxaxaxa
she ate for a whole day only a porridge, burger and a small portion of varenyky)))
Alina, you are so beautiful and humble. It makes perfect sense that people would connect with you for an hour like the 70 year old lady at the museum. Thanks for sharing yourself with the you-tube world, I feel fortunate to get to know you via your videos, and making this wonderful video. You are amazing, keep it up!!!
Hi Alina, you have a good heart giving money to those old homeless people.God bless you!
!!.!?
Alina! You've probably heard this a million or more time but you are simply stunning, you certainly fit in to your home country. Thanks for bringing your home country into mine...Australia.
Very nice, practical video of traveling in Odessa, Ukraine for a reasonable daily rate. My girlfriend lives in the Ukraine and I live in the U.S. So I am always interested in travel vlogs of the Ukraine and specifically, Odessa; my favorite city in the Ukraine. Please keep making such informative, entertaining and inviting videos of "life" in the Ukraine. Perhaps, Lviv would be a great city for your next video on "prices" and "life-style" choices. Renting and buying condos or houses in smaller, rural cities of the Ukraine would be so interesting to see, as well. Thank you for your lovely vlogs as you are a very smart and beautiful woman who is lovely to watch on screen and learn from....Ciao, Bella
Thank you so much. Lviv is a great city and I do hope to do some filming there at some point as well. I've been there a couple times but would be nice to spend a more extended amount of time. All the best
You are a really amazing person, you are a very kind and caring woman in every way that you can be. Thank you for all that you do and the type of person that you are.
Красивая девушка, умница, интересный блогер. Талантлива и остроумна. Смотрю с интересом.
That’s incredible!.......thanks again for your videos!!
Great job, thanks for introducing the beautiful music hall. I hope to visit the city someday.
Enjoying your vids Alina , keep them coming .
I just love ALL of your videos. Very informative. You need to be a tour guide for all of us when we come to visit. God Bless
I stayed in Kiev for 5 days , and it’s extremely easy to live on under 20 $ a day ! And I don’t mean like a strict life style at all , you can buy two meals a day at very nice restaurants and buy Ice cream and use Uber a numerous times for under 20 $ ...
keep in mind , in Kiev , an alcoholic cocktail at a nice bar is for 3 $ only :))) oh my God ! I can’t even compare it to LA where I live
i'm not agree you need 50 dollars day for livre normal and 100 dollars if you want a girl
very enjoyable video. I admire your efforts to support the less fortunate.
Thank you very much for taking me to Odessa. This is a great video tour. That opera house is magnificent. Your insight is much appreciated. Safe travel.

Always amazing. Say hello to my crazy wife. She is visiting family in Odessa. I don't want to visit Odessa but you're slowly changing my mind :)
I’m in Odessa again, at least 2 months. Got a great airbnb in Derybasivska
Alina, I so much love your videos and when I go to Ukraine I want to go and be able to be a blessing to the people. I have a huge heart for people and I really want to share the love of Christ with others. I have been greatly blessed even though I myself am a poor person.
You had the best place . I had a espresso at corner of your building in a Cafe Bookshop and was the BEST coffee ever had!. I can't wait to is it Odesa again and who knows even live there. 😍
I liked a lot de video, specialy the last part. You have such a nice heart :)
Good hearted woman and well brought up hope there would be more woman like you
I’ve always wanted to go to Ukraine! Your videos are amazing!!!
What a great video. I spent 13 day in Odessa in May 2018. I stayed in a small hotel that included breakfast . I spent less then $500. US dollars for all everything, well except airfare. Odessa is an amazing place and I can't wait to go back. I did have troubles in communicating because I only speak English. Uber is great to get around and very inexpensive. My ride to the airport from city center was $1.50 US . The people were always nice even if they didn't understand me. Your video brought back such great memories. Thank you
Aw I'm so glad!
Number of people that understand english increases in Ukraine because of young generation . Young people learn english more.
Love this
hi Alina.... God will bless and protect you always coz of your kind heart... take care where ever you are....
So cool! I want to go there one day!

Alina, I know you have a lot on your plate but I think it would be great if you did some you tube videos on cooking. You mentioned you are a good cook and sadly in our western culture more and more people don't know how to cook, keep up the great work.
Thank you so much! I actually have some videos on my channel where I made vegan perogies and some other what I eat in a day type videos. All the best to you!

Hello Miss McLeod I have really enjoyed your videos "going East". The best series to date so far. So I subscribed to say thank you. Good luck on your travels and keep posting. P.S. I also have a Scottish-Canadian-Ukrainian connection in my family. Seems that I am not alone after all. :)
Thank you for the support and I'm glad you've enjoyed them! While I'm not Scottish by blood, I guess I adopted it haha.
@@AlinaMcleod thank you on your video q r u irish may i ask?;
As many I stayed in Odessa that many it was deliciously tasty meals in every place in the city! Don know why it so, but I heard there is a famous Culinary Institute, may be that is the reason )
You're gorgeous! ❤️
I like your videos.
I am envious :)
Thanks for the info, Alina!
Now I know how to save more pennies when I visit my friend in Ukraine.

Odesa is a very decent city as shown by you. Opera is very unique to see. I wish I will visit Ukraine during my lifetime. One request to you that, in future while making video inform the date of your visit so that we are able to understand the climatic condition and we can plan our trip by following you. Thanks a lot. Keep posting Videos.
Thank you. When this video was filmed it was the last couple weeks of September. Strangely quite warm!
Wow you sound so impreesd by everything that you even make a burger look amazing

Lovely ....
Greetings from Saskatchewan
Que teatro imponente e de uma luxúria impecável.
Thank you! Great to learn some tricks for experiencing cost effective life there! Anywhere I could see ballet show in Odessa?
Yes, the same Opera theater I went to see the ballet in.
Sweet! Thank you much!
Oh ok, you're a Canadian. That explains your politeness and gentleness. I visited Canada in 2016 and found people there extremely polite. Visited again in 2017 when I went to US. I liked Toronto, Ottawa and town of Niagara very much. Visited Montreal and Quebec City, too. But had a bit of a difficulty as signs in some places were only in French. Which part of Canada are you from? And, about Ukraine, how much of a hindrance would it be for someone like me with no knowledge of Ukrainian and Russian? I can, of course, pick up some commonly used words but still. And, I would like to rent out a studio or something and spend 15 days or so, to see things at leisurely pace. I don't like rushing things like most tourists do. Of the cities of Kiev, Odessa, Lviv, Kharkiv and Dnipro, if I had to chose only two cities to visit, which two would you recommend?
Thank you! I grew up in a small town in Saskatchewan, but now I live in Toronto. Canada is a pretty relaxed place.
Overall I'd say you're ok with English in the larger cities. I've personally not been to Kharkiv or Dnipro yet, but I'd say Kiev and Lviv are absolute musts and are the easiest to get by with English. Odessa is great too, but mainly a summer/fall city. Hope you have a great trip!
Que lindo passeio teatro muito bonito bela noite
I had no idea that there was a hostel in that area. It is at a great location
It is a super location and you would never know it by walking around since the entrance just looks like a normal apartment door with just a small sign beside the door. It's on the 3rd floor. Highly recommend!
A big hug from Romania ,you know that country closed to Ukraine 😀
Yes, Alina, I give to the homeless DAILY here in Chicago. There are a couple’a folks I have chosen as my main benefactors to contribute to their well-being. As a truck driver, I feel that the good Lord has blessed me in that I was able to work (as an essential worker) during the ENTIRE COVID-19 crisis, which I call the 99.9% virus (which is the percentage of folks who end up actually SURVIVING this PLANDEMIC.] This is a FAR different scenario than the 1918 Spanish Flu which killed MULTI-MILLIONS of people worldwide! God bless you and your darling smile (and beautiful eyes). Numbers 6:24 "The Lord bless you and keep you; 25 The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; 26 The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace." Amen & Maranatha.
Alina sweet, can you make some interested videos about lovely Canda please?
Brilliant > oats are the best breakfast..add fruit > job done 😉 coffee off you go.
Alina, did it ever occur to you to register for Miss Canada? You're smart, cultivated, multilingual, beautiful as well, you're a dream woman. You will win no problem. You have my vote for sure.
I couldn't share space for sleeping. I would need my own room but seeing the cost of things I think it would still be manageable. Good food and accommodations would be important for me.
Oh I'm not a vegetarian but that burger looked amazing. 😋
You didn’t mention walking the main central street deribovskaya. Odessa has many wonderful streets just to walk. In all actuality you probably could’ve walked to the train station from the center I did it when I was there almost 15 years ago it wasn’t far. Sad to say the problem with the older poor was there then and yesI tried to help with what I could.
Wow, amazing experience, envy you, I hope I can be there have such experience, I saw you made the video one year ago, it will be the same as before now I think, I really want to go Ukraine and enjoy the journey like you, but I'm not a pretty girl as you, haha, $30 is very cheap cost,
160 hrn for hostel in the center is a very cheap, i guess thats because of season (late autumn)m in summer costs will be minimum 300-450 hrn. Please, if you want enjoy your staying don't chose cheapest. It's a very bad idea because you may have a really trash-apartments (or you even may be cheated. Live in normal apartments, eat a good food, its a point. You're good Alina, thank for showed our city ))) PS the way you walking in 3:14 is not safe, at least in the dark time.
Nice video alina beautiful house
Wow! it's nice to live in Ukraine..basic commodities is very cheap unlike here in Manila, Philippines
Красотка!🥰🥰🥰
I am fan of your heart 💘
She looks so gorgeous in the pictures
So much beauty in one single woman

You look beautiful today more than other days
Odessa was not my favorite...I am glad I went...I don't need to go back...there was some good food and architecture there. I guess young people think the "beach"/club scene is fun there?! Opera House is worth it. Good acoustics! Great vegetarian restaurant called TRUE there.
omg the ballet looked amazing
