Which grind setting you used on the ek43S for the moccamaster?
The Moccamaster black would fit beautifully in my kitchen! I usually brew with aeropress, but this would be perfect for when groups of friends are around!

I love the matte silver color. I am living here in Brno and I don't drink any alcohol so coffee is my beverage of choice. I am happy that Brno has a great coffee culture. I am now passionate about coffee and this machine will definitely help me experience the real taste of coffee.
I'd love the black one. I am busy educating my colleagues at work about amazing coffee. I make coffee for them regular using aeropress, v60 and Kalita, but it's takes a long time to make 6 cups of coffee like that...

Hi, guys! I'd like to have a white Moccamaster because it will suit the kitchen of my mum the most. I'm a barista and when I'm at home, I'm in charge of her (and mine) cup of Joe which we have after our works. It was nice to see, how she was more and more into black coffee from nice and fresh beans, leaving behind instant coffee. Despite some hesitation at the beginning, she started to explore different kinds of coffee, from sweet Guatemala to juicy Kenya. Pour over methods of brewing was her favourite. I'm leaving home in a month, and if I could leave her this mechanic barista I wouldn't be worried that her quality of coffee would drop and our coffee ritual would be stopped because of my departure.

I have a great coffee maker; a Technivorm Mochamaster, but I suck at making coffee. Today I learn!
I bought fresh beans, ground them by hand in a mortar and pestle, weighed out 60 grams for 1 Liter, cleaned the machine with vinegar and it worked!
Silver!! Because I miss having my coffee on the Moccamaster at the office and because I could share it with more coffee growers :D

Hello! I would absolutely love the yellow one! I think Moccamaster would work great for me because my 3 cup chemex and aeropress are just a little too small when I want to make coffee for friends and family! Plus, the more brew methods, the merrier! love you guys!

Moccamaster is amazing! :) I would love a green one to brew coffee with my new hubby. I love the color green and coffee even more. It reminds me of fresh herbs, spring and flowers. It would match our lifestyle and home perfectly. Why are we the perfect choice? We would take care of the "Mocca", try some great coffees together and even probably name the coffee machine...

I'd love a Moccamaster in red! I always sacrifice breakfast to make coffee with a v60, so this would let me have great coffee with less hassle.

Red Metallic... to fit the color of my sneakers, so I will look incredibly cool when preparing a cup of Doubleshot coffee in office...
I would love to have Moccamaster for many reasons.
First being my love for quality and repeatability of the coffee I brew. Automatic brewer enables keeping temperature, maintaining the same time of the pour and most importantly same agitation every time (which is the thing that disrupts me the most about manual pour over). It is great for tweaking coffee recipes to perfection and for training for various cup tasting competitions.
Second is the ease and short time of brewing coffee in this device. Mornings before going to the lectures would be way more pleasurable with DAMN GOOD CUP OF JOE.
Third is the outstanding design. I love the variety of colors and shape of the Moccamaster. It reminds me of other timeless classical designs, like for example Chemex. I'm sure I would never get tired of looking at this beautiful piece of equipment.
If I were the lucky guy who gets this machine I would choose Turquoise. It's my favourite color since childhood.
Keep up the good work! Do as many interviews with well known baristas as you can. I find them very interesting and inspiring.

I'm absolutely amazed by Moccamaster technology and design. Always when I travel I'm looking for the best places for coffee, also from your recommendation. With this machine I could have an amazing coffee also at home! And with good quality coffee beans that I always have, I could make a pretty good team with Moccamaster.
As I am a fan of minimalism I'd love White Metallic in my kitchen.
So you mean you couldnt have an amazing coffee at home without the Moccamaster? You realize literally all this does is bring water to boil, right?

Yes but it brews it at a certain amount of time because the shower head drips at a certain speed. The temp is also at a perfect 205-206°F every time. It’s durable and lasts.

Most beautiful Moccamaster is in Fresh Green colour! I'm a student and barista so I don't have a lot of time to make good quality coffee by myself in V60, If i get Moccamaster I'll have more time for myself and for coffee. ;)

I would like to get the silver one. I only buy specialty coffee, and I need one at home to serve guests. Pour over is to time consuming when I have people over. No other than MOCCA master does justice to quality beans. And guests deserve the best. Greetings from Norway

Hello kind Sirs, I would really like to have the moccamaster in red. The reason is that when I enjoyed specialty coffee for the first time it tasted like red fruit such as berries. Plus as being part Dutch myself it would give me great pride to have it in my kitchen. And I would like to use this opportunity to thank you for your videos and website. The only way you can get me into cities is by showing me where the coffeebars are, and thanks to you guys it is much easier for me now. Cheers

Black. This is the proper way to brew coffee at home. Proper temperature proper time and use the best Fresh Ground coffee. I roast my own coffee and try hard for the best results. Takes a long time to make the best coffee maker. That is one. I watch your vids for hours.
I do not know about other places but most people in Finland have Moccamaster.

2) Because I am a huge coffee nerd and wanted to have a Moccamaster for a very long time but it was just too expensive for me. I would really like to experiment with different coffees and the Moccamaster would make it possible for me to finally achieve consistent results.
I would love the Moccamaster in black, such a modern look. Though I brew with an AeroPress at home, having a Moccamaster would really help me out. Over the past year I have got some of my co-workers into specialty coffee by brewing coffee at the office for them. Though I am really glad that they enjoy the coffee, it can be annoying to always bring my AeroPress and hand grinder with me to work everyday after I've already made coffee at home that morning. Also, the AeroPress is of course an individual Cup brewer so it can take a while to make the coffee for my co-workers. If I won the Moccamaster, I would use it to make great coffee for my friends and co-workers at the office, so I can leave my AeroPress at home for personal use. I'd love to win a Moccamaster because I live with 4 friends, and introducing them to specialty coffee with just manual pour overs has proven to be a lot of work😁 I like the matte black color because it will fit into any future kitchen as well
I think every passionate coffee drinker is the right person to have one! :) But anyway Moccamaster is awesome, I got a chance to use it when I was volunteering and preparing coffee for World Cup Tasters championship in 2015 in Gothenburg.. I work as barista and I love to share great coffee with other people, thats why I could be right person to have one, to share good vibes with others :) PS so many beautiful colors I think Mocamaster really stands out as Yellow pepper!

I think the yellow one would give us some great summer spirit during winter (it's coming). Why me? I really need the equipment (skills I will ad by practising, promise) to keep us awake and in a good mood while planing our wedding (great coffee is on the list of course)

(b) Right now I only have an AeroPress for brewing great Coffee while I still live at my parents. Since I want to move out soon, this would be the perfect coffee maker when friends are over or when I'm just too lazy/out of time to go through the manual brewing process.

I would really like to get my friends and relatives to get acquainted with this typical piece of coffeemaking history. Ofcourse with coffee from specialtyroasters all over Europe. I'd really like to have an orange moccamaster to brew some great fresh ground coffee since our V60 (for 2 cups) is kind of small when we like to pleasure some guests with tastey specialty filtercoffee. :)

I love the black color of moccamaster the most! Why I am the right person to win this machine? Simply because I love prepare coffee for my family and myself, but I don't have the right equipment to do that and I wish own one like that. I just own V60 and it's really hard to prepare big amount of coffee. =)

Closer to the topic: the color of moccamaster that I want... Well, actually, I don't know. I'm stuck choosing between elegant brushed one, and funky orange. In general, it doesn't matter for me, what color the moccamaster would be, I just really want this cool thing :D Why I'm the right person? Honestly, I don't know. Just because I desperate love coffee and everything connected with it. Coffee is my passion, the THING that keeps me tuned during the day and helps me to start the day properly. And I think that my own moccamaster will not only make my life happier, but also will help to make people around me happier.

I have been looking into the black KBG 741 for a while now, but I just don't have the spare money to be able to afford one. I have been hand grinding and brewing coffee with a Porlex and either the Aeropress or V60 for several years now. But I would love to step up my game with the Moccamaster. I have been following you guys for some time now and your coffee guides have become extremely useful in some cities including Berlin and Barcelona. Your latest video on Budapest came a little later for me though. But no hard feelings :)
