Just to clarify that I'm as mad at them as everyone else, but let's be honest, these issues is not only because of an old engine, but because EA is a multibillionaire company, not Respawn, Respawn is one of them slaves makin billions for EA, it only works one way.

The fact this issue started with a prompt to forcibly cross progress our accounts should be a MAJOR red flag considering that some people who cross progressed in the past ended up PERMANENTLY losing everything tied to their accounts.
This is what really makes me nervous about actually getting my stuff back. I really hope this doesn’t bite us all in the ass

This is not a bug it's been done internally. They want us to feel grateful when they give us our stuff back. An old apex tactic of losing stuff only to get it back when they decide to 'patch' it.

I'm not too sure how they can fix this for console users at least.. my Xbox account got linked to my EA account from 2012 and I lost literally everything. Went to un-link my EA account and was told I would lose ALL progress on the console account. People like me got literally fucked.

I'm literally one of those players and NGL it's pretty wild. Never have I logged in to see 85% of my account straight up deleted and heirlooms gone progression gone apex coins gone. Wild. I'm still just trying to figure out what is going on. I know one thing. I really hope they give my stuff back or that's a wrap for me. This game is absolutely in shambles right now. Now money and time is gone from my account

It baffles me how they manage to screw up the game every time they do an update... Last week people couldn't play the game without changing their system language to English, now we got people losing months worth of progress. It's absolutely insane.
Still no were as bad as Rainbow Six Siege was for years. I eventually gave up on it and dropped it. Cheaters found a way to give people on the enemy team a black screen on round change or game ending that would crash you. When you load back up everything is set back ro default and you had to wait a couple of hours for your account to reload what your level and rank was

I logged on and my account had lost over 200 levels, my lifeline heirlomb, around 11 legendary skins and 4 legends. I was so close to crying but my friend came on and he had the same problem so I knew it was just classic Apex Legends. 😅😅

Fore me i lost everything from this season the whole battle pass that i purchased is gone and all the kills and badges i grinded and all my levels i went up this season
this is bad, its caused by a forced cross progression update when you load up your game .... which basically means data copying over data. so if they didn't write code to assume failure and back up before they do the merge, it will not be recoverable. i think they can recover to the last copy that have saved, mine turns out to be from about 6 month ago .... i calculated, thats gonna be $600 of refund ....this could end EA

Thank goodness it's not just me; I've lost some of my levels, crafting metals, skins, and more. Even after the rank split, I achieved Diamond rank, only to find myself demoted to Silver the next day for no apparent reason. What on earth is going on?

UNBELIEVABLE to me that Apex is this big of a game and has this many issues. NONE of their competitors have problems like this. They're the worst with cheaters, the worst with communication, the worst with content, the worst with skins, the worst with updates. The mass incompetence of this team is actually mind blowing. This is the 2nd time in a month that I'm afraid to launch my game because I'm now worried that if I do, I will have lost everything.
I'm not even joking, if they don't fix this bs loss of everything, let's put together a class action lawsuit and sue these jackass idiots into oblivion.

Apex been fucking up, even when am playing rank and the server kick me off I end up paying the penalty for it, I never the one to ever cheat, but I loose my stuff too, so disgusting.
It is really frustrating because I lost 380 levels and lots of skins and kills. It even sent me back so far that I don’t have all the legends unlocked anymore.
I lost over 5k kills, over 200 levels, tons of skins, 2 heirlooms, all battle pass progression for this season, all challenges, and almost all my apex coins

Legit just lost all progress on the BP, all my apex coins, treasure pack progress and around 4 months worth of miscellaneous things.
Despite all this, I understand that I’m lucky to still have my og items from 4 years ago, while others have *everything* gone :/
Another sad thing is that I started a fresh account yesterday and played like 10 games and then every game I was destroyed by either a Pred, a diamond or someone within the level of 300+ it’s ridiculous they need to fix their matchmaking

You know what’s really embarrassing? It’s the fact that it could be hacking or just simple incompetence.
You’d think it would HAVE to be hacking, but they have such a poor resume with bugs that this might just be a product of them not spot checking the update code.
What’s wild is that Apex has grossed MULTIPLE BILLIONS (most people don’t even appreciate how large a number that is). The fact that they mess up this consistently is almost mind blowing, lmao
i played yesterday, and i was playing really poorly and still doing better than most days this season and could see how i'd messed up and lost fights, instead of just magically getting killed out of nowhere over and over

I lost almost 500 hours of progress, including paid skins, battlepass, masters badge from last season, free skins from events, 20 bomb with rampart, bunch of kills and wins. That was enough Apex Legends. The product is just on a state that it is not worth putting time into it. Things comes and goes. But sometimes ppl take too long to realize they've already been gone for a long time.
I kept everything including my rank. So do they plan on switching the maps still as planned? Or did people just lose progress for nothing?
2:12 someone claims cheaters are somehow less. Many factors can give that false feeling in my opinion. 1) Schools restarted so there are less people online. 2) luck. 3) you might not be able to tell they are cheating. Walls are hard to spot in BR mode, aimbots are kinda sophisticated. Smart cheaters may look like good players --nevertheless the end result is the same, they win, you lose.
In my experience they are not reduced 1 single bit.

Then there must be issues with the servers. for some reasons I get lots of code:cloud and almost all servers seem to have some packet loss.
I literally just logged in apex around noon when I go update than all the sudden I just realized my stuff was gone like I already finished my season pass and where is my final fantasy badges and skin and the recent secret society badge and skin so I just turn off and come later on on tomorrow.
I made the decision to finally uninstall after coming back to see skins , progression , badges heirlooms reactive skins and the kicker they took my premium battle pass and want me to pay for it again appreciate all the players and the community but I’m done with this game after this especially considering the game just gets greedier by the day with its monetization
3 heirlooms, 100 levels, thousands of kills, kd went from 1.9 to 1.2…, tons and tons of skins, event tracker (flatline).
Turned on game, saw this shit, then turned it off. Honestly… I play weekly when I have time. If we don’t get back what we lost… I will probably drop it. Losing the little progression this game has just broke the last straw.

Since it reset everything that happened in the season does that mean it reset your apex pack pity to get an heirloom because in the passed 2 weeks I've spend $160 on packs alone to get an heirloom and if all my progress has reset I'ma be so sad and there's no way to check it

So logged on last night on console, xbox. Got a cross progression screen and after it loaded into the lobby screen it reset my account back to level 32 from 114, lost cosmetics unlocked after lvl32, lost crafting materials, lost gold, bought the battle pass but also lost that. Of this doesnt get fixed im done with this game
