You had me at Diesels, but you tore out my heart snd crushed it they were 08's I was sure you're moving to the dark side and I was thinking 66/6 😂😂😂😂. Whats the small green steam loco, haven't seen it before?? Layout is looking so close to finished, jealous ❤❤
Great model great video ! Nice runner . This 08 used to be based at Birmingham New Street for some of its life and then moved to Didcot railway centre where it’s been for years and years !
The class 08's were the unsung hero's of the railways along with all the other shunters. Powerful but short they navigated the tight points without issues and didn't require lighting of the firebox hours before duty though I take nothing away from the steam loco's that performed this role before as some could be used in light mixed traffic or freight duties. The 08 had a limited speed perfect for the job that they were designed for and they did that job brilliantly. An 08 is not just for Christmas but for all your shunting needs. I love them regardless of brand.
You should go DCC Jen, then you can run all your trains at the same time. The Roco Z21 is great. You can also use it with hand controllers as well as a phone or tablet.
The phantom sounds like it may be stronger but I don’t know, maybe you could compare them both loaded with cars? I think I like the phantom better though. Thanks for the video!
Know the feeling when it comes to touch screens. Too sensitive in my case with my fat fingers so I too prefer buttons and wheels to drive my trains. That’s why I use the TCS UWT as I still get wireless functionality with actual things I can touch and feel. Maybe that’s what you need?
Could you please do a video at some point of the far right hand side how the track joins and follow it round to the engine shed. Trying to sort of do the kind of layout that you have got going on. Im just starting out im doing 80s to. Present day diesel must have a depot it's all new to me ladt time i had a train set was like 30: year ago when i was s kid thanks
If you're sticking with analogue then definitely get a Gaugemaster, I have 2 DS units bought second hand, but they have a life time guarantee and they will honour it as long as any security tabs are in place. As a point of interest what was you using as a power supply when using the HM7000 app, a 15V 4A 'brick' is the recommended supply.
Your display has come along nicely. Very nice trains. The trees will add to the display. Enjoy your trains!🇨🇦
Thank you 💕
I haven’t see your layout for 6 months-it’s looking fab!
Thankyou....nothing has changed for a good few months unfortunately...but hopefully I may get some time soon to do a bit more 😬
Nice to see those 08s running 😊
😁💕

Problem is I have a lot of models non DCC so that could get expensive 😁

Hi j-loco nice to see you back , how many signal boxes do you need to run six trains at once. I've not got a shunter engine yet
I wouldn't be sure 😁 I'm thinking I need a 2nd shunter now 😁
Could you please do a video at some point of the far right hand side how the track joins and follow it round to the engine shed. Trying to sort of do the kind of layout that you have got going on.
