The grinder went through the valance panel like a knife through butter.

that takes me back to doing my mk5 estate. i made all the panels. upper and lower valances plus inner and boot landing repair panels👍. you seem to be missing the inner, there was one one ebay recently but £££

I cut the inner out back in 2020 as it was very rotten and I needed to get the bumper bar bolts out. czcams.com/video/DErLJNCEaaM/video.html

Good work Simone. I’m at the same area on my Cortina. There was an estate inner valence at a scrapyard in Blackburn which I bought in error last year and then returned. I’ll try and dig out the contact details.

Great progress on Tee Cee Simone. Have you got a spot weld drill bit ? It might take a bit longer in removing the remaining rusty metal, but will look better in the long run. And I love your dust coat. I still have a couple of my old Ford overalls from my time at working at Ford.
