that takes me back to doing my mk5 estate. i made all the panels. upper and lower valances plus inner and boot landing repair panels👍. you seem to be missing the inner, there was one one ebay recently but £££
Good work Simone. I’m at the same area on my Cortina. There was an estate inner valence at a scrapyard in Blackburn which I bought in error last year and then returned. I’ll try and dig out the contact details.
Great progress on Tee Cee Simone. Have you got a spot weld drill bit ? It might take a bit longer in removing the remaining rusty metal, but will look better in the long run. And I love your dust coat. I still have a couple of my old Ford overalls from my time at working at Ford.
Great work is there not ment to be 2 valances at the back inner and outer only seen the outer cut out or did it take both of at the same time looking forward to the next one
"It says to keep it ventilated and there's a great big hole there so it's ventilated" is probably the best line I've ever heard😂
I was hoping that would get a giggle- success :)

💪💪👍👍 bit by bit .
Wow good luck with the rest of the repairs Simone! Will look absolutely amazing at the end!👍
Thanks Mini, I hope I can do it.
The grinder went through the valance panel like a knife through butter.
Quite a bit of rust!
Fingers crossed!
Yeah it's quite bad
I like that car. I am happy that she is getting a new bum. :)
Me too, glad to be getting it started.
Excellent start on fixing the rear - good luck with the work as ever 🙂
Thank you :) . I am going to access each section and how it is constructed. I think I can save the drivers side rear inner quarter.
Hey Simone, Nice dry weather means you can get on with stuff. Onwards and upwards. Loving the tunes to go with the video, nice editing 👌 🦖
Thanks Ross, I'm hoping to get stuck back in again on tuesday. We have some unsettled weather.
Very handy with the death wheel Simone! 👍
According to Carly Hubnut it's the firey wheel of death. I might just steal that lol.
Excellent video Simone 👏👏👍
Thanks Jimmy 😊

I cut the inner out back in 2020 as it was very rotten and I needed to get the bumper bar bolts out. czcams.com/video/DErLJNCEaaM/video.html
Great video👍
Thank you Peter.
Nice one :-) I was going to bed after Boaty's live, but saw you posted about a new video so that had to wait lol
Thanks Steve 😊
Great Video & hard graft Simone. A little holy underneath, but incredible for 50 odd years old. Very Sensible investment with the gas bottle
Thanks BB, the next film will be a bit longer.
🧙♂️

Thanks shelley. I have the panels already.

I do yes, it was one of the few things I forgot to grab. I do have my Croc sander as well.
Good old Crocy.
Andrew, they'll become collectors items one day
Yes!Teecee tinkering,I assume he made to to that drive under his own power?
He did yes, thankfully.
Great! He back! 🙂
Yay! TeeCee fixes!

I cut the inner on Adventure two back in 2020. really should have just left it alone.
@@CortinasAndClassics ohhh ok
Looks pretty bad Simone. Look forward to watching the resto! Mac
Yes it's very crusty. I will be doing my best to get it as clean as possible. Plenty of rust removing wheels. Thanks Mac.
Look very nice where you live
Oh I don't live there but thank you :)
