    Hello sir , would u please solve my doubt
    Can we use present perfect cont. for the action that has recently finished
    For ex- "I have been thinking of this dress for so long."(AFTER BUYING THE DRESS)
    Q2- which tense should we use with 'these days'
    I am reading harry potter these days.
    Or
    I have been reading harry potter these days.
    Please answer
    Please

    • @JoeJoe-hn2nh
      @JoeJoe-hn2nh Před 5 lety

      ritu sonii 1. Since you say that after you bought the dress, you can Say "I had been thinking to buy this dress for so long. Q2. the correct sentence is the second one since the action has been started in the past and still continue til today. In that case you have to formulate a sentence in a present perfect continuous form

    Hi Andrew 🙋🏼‍♀️
    What’s the difference between “ apron “
    and “ bib “ ? 🤔

      No answer 😔

    • @ThePp12345678
      @ThePp12345678 Před 4 lety

      An apron tends to be used by an adult to protect their clothes. There are different types of aprons ones which can be washed and reused and others which are single use (can only be used once and must be thrown away). Aprons are used when cooking, caring for someone in a hospital or nursing home (single use aprons), or painting a picture (art). A bib is generally used for a baby and is placed around the neck. A bib protects a baby's clothes from getting wet, dirty or from staining when a baby is learning to eat solid foods (weaning) or when they bring up trapped air from stomach (wind/burp). A baby often brings up a bit of milk (positing/sick) and using a bib will save changing the baby clothes after every feed.
