I really wish I would have had the pleasure of seeing this song performed in concert. I had the pleasure of seeing Tracy in 1989 at Blossom Amphitheater in Cleveland. I will NEVER forget that performance.

Wow, this is so good. According to the date this was just before her third album was released, and this song shows all the promise that the songs of her first two did.
I don't get what happened with that third album, it had great moments but it just felt like there was a huge drop in quality to her songwriting. I felt it got much better with Telling Stories, but her work doesn't have the edge it once did.
