In the NBA success is solely on Championships. It's a business and every team strives to bring a chip to there home. So yes, the season was a failure because they got eliminated in the semi finals again.
Life there's too many unknown variables to say whether it'll be a success or not and alot of those cannot be changed. Only thing we can do is play with the cards we're dealt and linger on as best we can.
As a knicks fan i agree with brunson we lost in the second round last year this year was supposed to be the year that we made it to the ecf so it definitely wasnt much of a success but despite the injuries we will bounce back nyc forever 🟦🟧💯🙏

This season was not a success at all but Knicks were battling injuries all season. Injuries were the reason the season wasn’t a success.

The Knicks won the championship when I was 3. Ever since I can remember I have wanted to watch this team win a championship, but every time they have gotten close, and now this season and this team, it has always been gratifying to see them work so hard on the court! It’s the way they play, the way they fight, the way they hustle and grind, the way of the Knicks that makes me so proud to be a fan and thankful for the joy you have brought me and others this season. We need to value this young man, his leadership, his team first attitude, he is a professional par excellence! Thank you Mr. Dolan (can’t believe I am, but…)for hiring Leon Rose, thank you Leon for hiring Thibs, and thanks to the entire administration for putting this team together. Now let’s keep the pieces, let’s make a run with a healthy and deep squad, WE DONT NEED ANOTHER SUPERSTAR! Knicks Forever!
Pacers were running full court press on Jalen in the past 3 games. Instead of Jalen bringing the ball up, Thib should have had McBride or DiVincenzo to bring the ball up. Almost every trip took the entire 8s to bring the ball over the half court.

Don't worry Brunson next year is the year your gonna bring the championship to the Garden.. Your the MVP and we are all proud of you with the fight you put into each game as well as the rest of the team.

Jalen Brunson did good this year and has been times that he scored 42 points, but there were some weaknesses that he needs to work on and other teams starting to exploit that weakness number one on double team specially plays at a big at him. He’s got to be master and have the skills to get out of that quick and fast. He also gotta have the confidence to make his shots and then him I noticed that weakness he has and a lot of players took advantage of his weaknesses so I feel like if he’s gonna become a superstar he’s gonna have to get better maybe in the summertime to get out of double another team specially players at him
This season showed Knicks fans the endless possibilities for the very near future, If management doesn’t screw this team up !
Injuries
He definitely got what it takes to be a superstar, but there’s a couple of weaknesses. He’s got to do better if he wants to become a superstar I think he has a better chance to become a superstar than Julius Randle.

There have been many injuries.. But the truth is we were pathetic in a game seven.. No defensive intensity.... Just trash. To me this season was a failure because you're as good as the ending.. And the Knicks played like losers.. No defensive intensity.... Not to mention that the offensive sets were off in terms of ball movement and shot selection...
I disagree, yeah they played like ass the last two games, but that's only because Pacers have way more options. The Knicks went farther than anyone expected, hope they really build their roster next season without any injuiries

Knicks should fire Coach Thibadoux since by playing 8 player rotation he got most player injured and tired. Had he put Precious and Burks in 10 player rotation, today the knicks would have beaten the Pacers.
