- Join me for my weekly visit to the mighty Chesil Beach in Dorset, due to fishing in Norway this is my first session in 2023.
As you can see the sun is shining and the fish are feeding, thank you yet again for watching my videos, I really appreciate it.

I have had such a blast fishing again these last 3 years on Chesil & you are right that view you get on a clear day is something to behold. Takes my breath away everytime. In winter they can have blue fins, just like Bass
Great video on 'The Beach of Broken Dreams' 😂. I've had many sessions on Chesil, everything from miserable weather and blanks to awesome sunsets/rises, and fish I will never forget. Chesil is always worth a visit.

Really enjoyed that, would have been nice to see a cod, if you're lure fishing 🎣 over rough ground targeting cod do you have a favourite dependable spinner or lure also would you use a slow retrieve or fast and erratic?? Curious cuz another guy says a really slow retrieve is best for cod this time of year but he lost alot of spinners and lures which is always a risk over kelp n gullies etc.
Great video as always Wayne and how good was that shot of the sun set with sea and dark sky and stars! Definitely inspired me to venture down from west wales to have a go on the famous chisel

Another great vid, good to see you back on the good old chesil beach. When do you start seeing fish like bream and Gurnard move into chesil. Don't get much spare time thses days to get away on a fishing trip. Living in Northern Ireland I just tend to do the odd day trip close to hand. But I definitely want to catch a bream this year, that's my target fish. So was thinking of a long weekend at Chesil. Plus you have the chance of picking up pretty much every other fish as you know.
Everything picks up in April. Bream cab turn up in June or July. Thanks for the comment

How do you tell the difference between a pouting and a whiting? Use to live in Douglas on the isle of man and in summer while fishing with feathers on one rod and another rod with a one up one down rig baited with mackerel and I got nothing but these little fish either pouting or whiting, I was targeting mackerel and huss but everything was devoured b4 anything else could get to the bait, I even put one on as live bait on a floating rig and still just got nailed by whiting or whatever they were.
