Philip dreamed of a place where he could build a self-sufficient life. A little piece of land where he could hunt, work the land, and build a home that he could be proud of. His dream began to become a reality when he purchased the first 40 acres of Kowalski Mountain in 2016.
I met Philip online in 2018. I grew up on a small, hobby farm. While I loved the outdoor lifestyle, I was stuck in my urban life far from my roots and the lifestyle I loved.
It's hard to deny that Philip and I were meant for each other. We make a great team! We seem to be able to accomplish more than the average couple in record time. Since our Kentucky dream is built in short workcations, our ability to get things done is a huge asset.

I ordered the Positively Tea and Stevia that you use and it arrived last week. It’s safe to say that it’s a hit in my house! We are probably more like your husband…we take a heaping quarter cup of organic sugar per half gallon mason jar of tea. Thanks for getting us off of tea bags!!

Ordered both the Assam & Nilgiri teas from Positively Tea. This makes the best ice tea ever. We drink a lot of ice tea especially in the Spring & Summer. 4 tablespoons equal a 1/4 cup so I just keep that in my blended tea and use a heaping 1/4 cup when making a gallon of tea. I ordered the Reinmoson Extra Large Tea Infuser from amazon but might have been ok with the large size. I've never had any tea escape from it so happy with that infuser. I see you leave yours on to steep until the tea has cooled. In your opinion what's the max time to leave it steep? Thank you so much for your recipe. It's the best out there.
Ohhhhh I’m so glad you enjoy the tea! We drink a lot too! I’ll need to check out your diffuser because mine does loose tea leaves. As to your question, I’d make the tea at least with in 8-12 hours. I only say that because it’s perfectly fine to brew at night and make the next morning. Or maybe brew it in the morning before work and mix up in the evening when you get home. I wouldn’t go too long because unrefrigerated it goes bad after awhile. Sometimes if my fridge is full I’ll leave the tea out. I never can drink j it fast enough not refrigerated. It starts to taste spoiled.

Good to hear. Left mine for 5-7 hours although it was cool before that. Not worrying about it too much then when I brew it in the morning & mix it up whenever I get to it in the afternoon. ☺️
