- This is a video of the title track to Chet Nichols' CD, "Taxi To Tonganoxie". The CD was produced in LA and SF by Stephen Barncard at Stephen's home studio in Beverly Glen and at Wally Heider's studio in San Francisco. The back up band is a proverbial "Who's Who" of great players and singers back then including:
Fuzzy Oxendein, Wayne Goodwin, Billy Berosini, Laura Allen, Spencer Dryden, Buddy Cage, Pete Sears and others.
The title track and the songs were all written by Chet on his farm in Tonganoxie, Kansas.
It is a fine collection of rock, country, bluegrass, folk, pop and jazzy tunes. - Hudba
Great tune! Fuzz and Laura (BTW: It's spelled "Oxendine." ) are both old friends and I personally consider Spence Dryden to be one of the finest human beings in all of rock, if not the world.

Hey Now, I will definitely check them both out! Jerry Miller is also a dear friend and I got him together with a young lady named Jan Lewis for some old-time C&W and a little studio band we call the "Remington Riders," which you might enjoy. ("My Lowdown Ways" comes to mind. )

Hey Ando, thanks for the reply......YOu should share this song and this CZcams site with Jack.....The album, "Taxi To Tonganoxie", is really a fine album filled with classic rock songs. I always wished that "Taxi To Tonganoxie" would become the "the Official Song Of Tonganoxie"! That said, I am happy to share with you that the album, "Taxi To Tonganoxie" was just selected by Pandora to be on it music streaming service AND on it's "Premium Service Subscription Channel".....
