Zion is the Rock Lee of the NBA. His powers are amazing to watch and make him a fan favorite, but the human body literally can't handle that combination of speed, explosive power, and weight. He has to give up one of those next year and reinvent him or he will be out of the league soon. Not hating, not fat shaming, but genuinely concerned.

the thing with the wiseman pick is at that point warriors didnt need more guard play they needed that center and they only decent other was okongwu so its not like it was a massive miss in the context of what they wanted
It really is a “hindsight is 20/20” scenario because almost everyone thought Wiseman was not only the right pick but was the best pick and it just never clicked for him at the NBA level. Shitty pick in retrospect but not at the time

The Warriors definitely feel done to me. Klay and Draymond both need to be gone, and they'd have to get a major roster overhaul to have a good enough player that it isn't just Steph vs the other 5. Don't know why anybody would go there in 2024-2025 though.
I’d say the Warriors looked about as top-heavy as they were in the 2019 Finals when KD went down. Klay was obv fine then (moments before disaster), but the rest of the roster was basically out of the league within 3 years lmfao. Straight up Santa Cruz Warriors 4th through 15th man.
I’m a Stephew through and through, and I def believe the championship window is closed. Curry is slower, Wiggins and Klay have minimal value, injury-prone vets, etc. No apparent path towards contention through trades + free agency. Even making it to WCF would be a Cinderella story. At least we got ‘22.
grew up in the bay and while I'm sad the warriors are ending their era, I realize now that for a while we were like the patriots, always finding a way to win and being a constant playoff threat no matter what. But now I'm moreso a fan of players more than teams and it's nice to look to some new guys

Lakers fan here. I'm disappointed we didn't get to beat the Pelicans at full strength. Zion was unreal that game, and it's only fair we play those last three minutes with him on the floor.
You can't have seen what the heat did last year and tell me that ducking a clearly superior 2 seed for a vulnerable 1 seed isn't a viable strategy or not worth the risk.
