Man Paul is a guitar legend , he can play anything from jazz , rock , blues , progressive rock to metal . I wish he writes more instrumentals like technical difficulties in future.

Paul is really really one of my favorite guitarists - and his bandmates are always 1st class - they meld into one and sound great!
Paul is so many things as a guitarist but for me it's his expression as though he were singing a melody. Most technically proficient guitarists lack this ability. Amazing stuff!
Just love watching real musicians doing live performances like that. So rare in this digital cut/paste era.

Big drummer = best drummer
Brian Foxworth is one of Portland's busiest drummers and this kinda groove is exactly why. I'm proud to be on an album of this stature with him.
There's one more cat you're probably gonna see, Reinhold Melz(sp?) And he's another great player.
I love Foxworth! I remember playing with him at the Candlelight Room in the early 90's at the open jams. Amazing then, and even more so now!
He sounds great on this. Lovely player.

PG never ceases to amaze. Along with guitar god chops, his playing now is SO lyrical and he uses touch and feel to make his guitar sing

My favorite thing about the vids Paul’s been uploading lately is the fact that we see these other musicians working with him, he gave all these guys jobs which I respect since a lot of other guys like Satch and Eric Johnson like to record most of the guitars, keys and bass themselves, just the fact that Paul brought these other musicians in on this is very admirable
This song is just such a wonderful jam. Every time I come back and listen to it I feel the groove.
I can’t imagine another human being any better than Paul on guitar...or even as good. Too many reasons to even mention. Paul told me once that for him it was Eddie Van Halen...and I had to concur, but only because Eddie single handedly changed the game and developed a style and technique that blew our collective minds. So even though I still agree Paul, Ed/Eddie/Edward is king, (of guitar) you sir are it’s prince. I will not be surprised if many will disagree and wanna flip it...because you’re just that good. Your playing inspires me to make me want to play, write, get better, laugh, cry, dance, and sell my guitar. 😂 That’s just how great you are to me and many others. Thank you for the time that you spent with me one day back in 1988 at a clinic in Asheville NC at the Musicians Workshop. It was a life changing masters class. When it was over, you still wanted to hang, because in that little town there was nothing else to do, so you kept playing guitar and gave me my own one on one performance with advice, tips, jokes, and being just the coolest bro/friend I’d never met before. You don’t remember, but I’ll never forget. Keep rockin’ brother and God bless. 🎸 🙏

Malcolm Reynolds Michael Romeo is too one-dimensional. As a shredder, sure, he's amazing and his solos are beautiful. I just wish he went solo (but not like that god-awful solo album of his) or changed bands.

Yep, PG was/is the cleanest, most ferocious shredder i've ever heard... His percussive, hyper fast alternate-picking was unmatched...

I hope Paul goes back to his hard rock shred style. Im not loving this or his last cd or the one before that either. He gave almost 30 years of killer guitar playing music, but I want more!
Such a lovely soulful, melodic and funky album to listen to with occasional sprinkling of Pauls acrobatic frenzied and always excitement induced playing. A great iTunes purchase for me that will get lots of repeat listening. 👍🏾🙏🏾💰🤗😎

You wouldn't remember me. Years ago I asked for your help with a contest where you only had exactly 30 seconds to come up with the perfect solo in order to win a very nice guitar. I never heard back form you and I didn't win the contest. I have learned a lot since then. But with so many great guitarist out and about. I'm still not going to win that guitar I wanted so badly. I wonder if you would consider posting a 30 second video of what your idea for that contest would have been. I would be very interested in seeing that. And I'm sure everyone else would as well! Hey Paul! Been a fan since 2008! You have evolved so much, one of the most well rounded guitarists at the current time.

I just love how Paul is pretty much the only guy from his era that's making interesting, fun to listen to music. I feel he's the only one that's not falling behind the newer cats like Nick Johnston or Plini in terms of inventiveness. Bumblefoot is the only other that I can think of that's keeping up.
