- Charlie was kind enough to tell us about his custom built truck that started life as a 1962 Ford F600. It's been shortened with a custom truck bed made to fit over the rear dual wheels. He also added Foyr Wheel Drive and a built blower motor with dual quad carburetors. It's a beauty!
There is nothing more cool than a classic fixed up truck. 😊 This guy did an amazing job on his truck.
I totally agree!
i mean a time capsule is always prefered for me
I’m 15 I bought my first truck last year it’s a 1966 F-100 crown Vic swapped and I bought it for $500 and as a generational ford man I’m absolutely in love with the 1961-66 ford pick ups and he hit the nail on the head with that truck it’s beautiful love it
I agree. I love those years too! Good to see someone your age appreciate the 'old iron'. Thanks for watching.
Yes, me too, i'm 10 😂
15-year-old boomer 😂
Brother I also bought a 66 f100 for 500$ the only difference is I originally called my brother up and asked him if I could buy it off him since it was just withering away in the back property so I offered him 1k for it at 12 years old cus by then I started working fixing concrete pumps with my dad so I really wanted to buy it off him he said yeah and i gave him 500 and he gave me the keys then I was gonna give him another 500 when he got the title but unfortunately I never got to give him the other 500 because he was having a real hard time finding the title and passed away soon after and it was crazy cus the title showed up the same week he passed so now I’m restoring it 100% I’m sandblasting the frame chassis and undercarriage right now gonna spray self etching primer then rhino liner or whatever liner is the tuffest then just a layer of penetrating oil for shits n gigs so I’m gonna make it 100% for my bro it’s gonna be a sweet build I hope it just takes a lot a lot of work oh and the only other difference is I got the og twin I-beam suspension with the 9’ ford rearend with drums in the back and calipers in the front so pretty stock I’m gonna try to beef it up a bit see what happens
@@isaiahrosales7070hey man I’m sorry about your brother I’m glad you got it tho there’s a lot that just rust away I lost my grandfather before he could see my truck I always thought he’d be proud of it but the ford runs in the family my dad is a huge fan of the 1967-72 ford pickups he has 2 67’s a 48 f3 and a 1971 ford maverick grabber. A lot of people call it a problem lol but yea I love your story keep me updated I don’t know if I should give my phone number but I will if anyone wants to talk about anything
Even without the intense motor, this truck is fantastic.
I’m a Chevy man and I’m one year older than that truck and it’s the most beautiful, well thought out and well built Ford truck I’ve ever seen. Thank you for showing the truck and I tip my hat to the gentleman who built it fantastic!
Thank you for watching and commenting.
Some people have such talent .. I can barely change the garbage disposal without it being stressful lol
That is flat amazing. This guy is a genius. Love it.
Agreed!
Sweet Ride, wish I had put it together!! WOW

What a awesome truck.
It really is. Thanks for watching.
An
I did body and paint for 40 + years, that gentleman hit a homerun with this one.
Yeah he did! Thanks for watching.
That truck is Fantastic. The volume of work to get it to that point is only known by the Man himself and some that can do that level of work. Beautiful work Sir. I would love to see it up close.
Agreed! It's a stunner up close.
OMG that is THE truck I want!
I'll second that
Awesome
That thing is a work of art.
Thanks for watching.
As a lifelong old ford truck lover/fixer upper/collector I have to say……..you win! That is so close to my dream truck that I don’t even know what I’d change to make it mine. Simply perfect 👍
Appreciate you watching. Glad you liked it.
It is glorious the only change would be color love the orange but obviously I’d go green
That truck looks killer.
This is one of the coolest trucks I've seen in a long time!
Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching.
That thinks so good looking, I think ninety percent of GM guys would gladly drive it.
Wicked truck. The attention to detail is amazing! I bet people take a double take when they see it.
I know I did. So much so that I had to pull over for a closer look. Thanks for watching.
I’m pretty sure people fainted at 1st sight!
The doors on those trucks really do shut nicely. They have a certain sound that is so unique that Charlie Daniels began a song with boots walking through gravel and then walking up to a 64 Ford pick up opening the door getting in and shutting it, then the song starts.
No kidding. That's cool to know about Charlie Daniesls. Thanks for sharing that and thanks for watching.
A real beauty, an amazing job.
I completely agree!
This guy deserves EVERY award / trophy given out in ALL truck categories! Absolutely stunning! His vision became a reality and is slaying everything on 4 wheels! Well done!
It sure is an awesome truck! Thanks for watching.
He loves that truck and was happy someone noticed it. A nice personality even though he was freezing. Pretty cool. Sorta priceless now.
For sure! He was a really cool guy! Thanks for watching.
That's sweet. Nice modifications. 👍
Agreed.
@@ClintCobra really flows good looks like something factory built
That is a very nice truck! Love that he kept a classic, clean look to it while blending all of the mods into it to be almost seamless. Lot of thought and work there for sure.
I agree! Thanks.
Funny to say, but those bumpers with that clean paint scheme, something so simple that takes this truck to another level.
That's one badass ford truck, they should've made them like in the factory !!! ❤
That is a beautiful truck what a classic Ford truck exelent build
Agreed!
He does beautiful work
Looks pretty darn nice, did a great job rebuilding it back to this configuration.
I agree! He did a great job on it.
100% nicer than any snap on, rivet on, screw on or glue on body mods, that are typically found on todays hot rods. And he did it on the cheap, using what he had. Good thing for this truck that he was born too late.
That is a piece of artwork with fantastic workmanship!
What a truck. It is both Beauty _and_ the Beast!
For sure! Thanks for watching.
That is a beautiful truck done right. Love the attention to detail.
Agreed! Thanks for watching.
It looks like a real version of a 4x4 “Stomper” Ford truck toy I had in grade school. Beautiful 😍 Truck! 😊
That’s a beautiful truck unbelievable
This is why FORD guys Rule!
Thanks to my nephew that lives a few houses away from this guy, I got to see the whole build in short videos. Fantastic truck!
That's awesome! I'd love to see some of the build videos if you have a link you could share. Maybe I'll bump into him sometime when he can give me a ride in that awesome beast. That would be so cool.
Incredible craftsmanship. Love it.
Yes. Thanks for watching.
So tastefully and professionally done, very impressive in all the right ways.
Thank you for watching.
Wow, craftsmanship and detail is next level! Beautiful build
Love it! I used to drive a '62 F600 with a 16-foot flatbed in my part-time job while a senior in high school (1975-1976). Had a 4-speed with a 2-speed rear end.
Nice! Thanks for watching.
You do not have to be into old trucks to see how much thought, effort and most likely cash, he put into this. So unique and cool.
What a cool truck. Nice 👍
The owner is a craftsman, an artist, an engineer, and has made a unique and awesome truck. A+
Indeed! Thank yoyu for watching.
Glad that I didn't see this back in 1990 when I owned my '64 F600 stake body...I would have been building one! VERY cool! Beautiful work!
You did an excellent job, it’s a beautiful truck. So much body work but work every hour.Thank You for keeping it ALL FORD. Lots of guys build very nice trucks and cars and put brand X engines in them. That’s all good but some builds should stick to the brand. This is one of those builds.
Thanks for watching.
This guy built the truck of his dreams. It's a beautiful truck.
I agree!
Excellent engineering. Listen to that door shut! Can’t say enough good things about this project.

He was outside an event Chip Foose was a guest at and was hoping he would bump into him but I don't think he did.
That’s is absolutely beautiful. Your an artist.

Give him money to build more artwork!!!
Love the whine of the supercharger!

Now this is a great looking truck driver. Take care of yourself and your truck. Remember to always drive safely wherever you go.
Just may be the sickest truck ever... in history!
You did a real good job on fabricating that truck looks real professional it's a beautiful truck
I work in Boise.... I would have loved to have seen this truck. My '71 highboy isn't too shabby either.
Who knows...maybe you'll see it around one day.
That is one awesome truck, you said the front grill was a 65 but actually it's a 66 grill
It was the builder if the truck that said it was a 65 grill so I don't know. Either way it still looks great. Thanks for watching.
That same grill was used on some late 65 f-100's
That’s fricking ingenious and sweet. Love the color. Looks like a gmc orange
Not GMC. HEMI ORANGE! 😊
Amazingly creative and resourceful! Very impressive!
Nice orange truck
Thank you for showing probably one of the nicest trucks I've ever seen on CZcams. That man has some skills Wonderful job.
Thanks for watching. I appreciate it.
That is beautiful ,, The work you must have done to make that cutting fenders and adding to the ned and have it come out so great ! WOW thats some crazy skill

Thanks for watching.
That is one proud man and one sick ass truck. Love it.
Gorgeous work
Yes sir, that’s a mighty nice old truck!
I saw pictures of a F700 utility, looked like it was fitted with tractor tires. It was built to run power lines so they fitted it to be as all terrain as possible. This was done years before monster trucks. Possibly the inspiration for em but used in real world applications. Thanks for sharing this genius rebuilding.
Thanks for watching!
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS !!!!
Agreed!
Fantastic creation.
Thanks for watching.
Very impressive!

I’m basically building this truck right now. Check out the build.
I’m not going that crazy but it very similar.
Awesome! I like it! I'LL Sub and watch the progress! Thanks for watching.
Well done
Pretty Fricken Cool . .
Wow, that truck is on another level cool! The fact that it looks like it could have ALMOST rolled out of the factory looking just like that is really cool. I’m no truck person but seeing that thumb nail I thought that was a restomod of a truck i had no idea ford made back in the day. Come to find out it’s a straight up custom truck all the way around was neat.
Glad you like it! Thanks so much for watching.
That truck is just beautiful.
Thanks for sharing!
