Above all I discover the other materials that I still don't know how to use. Thank you for ur work! I do this model too with you and want to advice you: you can did backpack stripes with tube tool and just changed it’s profile to rectangle. Maybe you already know it)
I had so many uses for the profile with tube tool! Especially with the ninja turtles (for their headbands) unfortunately I did this one and the turtles before the update with the tube profile tube!
Validation question. Why does it matter if you don’t validate right away? It seems to me we can still gizmo, mirror resize basically everything you can do after validating. What is the reason you wait to validate? I only made my first creature off your video recently an have a lot of questions. Can you please tell me what is the purpose or reason to not validate after creation of a primitive? Thank you, I really appreciate your tutorial crash courses.
Sometimes I may forget too If say blocking quickly, or I may not validate tubes or cylinders if I think I may want to augment them with the pre validated tools! 👍🏾
Noob here, what tool would you use if I want to sculpt a gin bottle that has beveling around it? So I made the overall shape of it with the lathe tool but need to insert the uniform ridges/bevels around it. Any idea? Appreciate the content
There is probably a way using the topology but that is kinda confusing. Try maybe masking with an ellipse then using flatten around it! You can mask all areas except the bevel and use flatten, might work!

I think so, lots of people use it on phones with fingers, but I can’t say I’d recommend it. You lose a lot of functionality it’s meant to have ! 👍🏾
