It's a eulogy for the show, which is nothing without him.
For a man with that kind of comedic impact, you lose your laugh. John Oliver steps up to it, but Jon Stewart was willing to play ball in anyone's ballpark, and he often had their tongue.
He was a beast. And he ripped appart politicians. and I loved every second of it.
At one point in time 70% of college students got their news from The Daily Show.
I would vote for him as President... I'm English but I'd find a way.

PS:JS was funny when his job was to tear down the state i.e bush (and Carlin complimented him during this time), but no matter your politics comedy law dictates the joke must be ON someone else to be funny, like a pie in the face. So when you shift from attacking bush to defending Obama, you lose your potency and that's what happened.

Just like that movie with Robin Williams. IT was about literally the exact same subject. Dude would be truly charismatic, good natured, responsible, and clever enoguh to actually get things done. IN the modern megacorp conservative agenda world, it would never happen sadly. T.T I would still vote for Stewart though!!!

I think he was one of the smartest most caring people in the media I have ever seen.He was not phony,arrogant and he did truly care about what most people did.I just wish some way ,some how he could have had a shot to interview Trump.
