I was prescribed Meclizine, and used it for 2 weeks. My intraocular pressure decreased two almost three times normal. I'm now having to take eye drops for glaucoma.
A lot of Meds may have an effect on the inner eye pressure, at least in Switzerland one can read warnings about that in many patient Information sheets, I hope you get well again!
I have used Meclizine for years for BPV episodes and to prevent motion sickness. Interestingly, I have a severe allergy to Aspirin (hives) but have never had an issue with Meclizine. I generally never take a dose higher than 25-50 mg.
Hello my name is Rose morales I’ve suffered from vertigo most of my life..and I have used meclixine for years and now I’m having eye problems with concentrating and eye pressure what can I do to fix side effects of using meclixine for so long please help
great video! can you explain for us why Meclizine its not good for sleep ? i have sleep problems since many years ago and ibs/ sibo and i guess that is effecting my sleep so i keep waking up at 2 am and cant fall back to sleep 2-4 hours later and wake up tired all day long :(
It can be a good option. But I usually caution people that finding the right medication can be a bit of trial and error. In other words, topiramate can work great for one person and not at all for the next
I was prescribed meclazine for vertigo..at 3pm I took it and was fine now at 8:30 boom I feel really drowsy, weak, hard to swallow and breathing a lil heavy..is all this normal??..thanks.

Sorry Rose. Have you tried slowly going off the meclizine?
But do I seek for the eye Dr or neurologist because it’s really a bother 😢

I use it for my kidneys, gets rid of the foamy urine
