Why Did I Dismantle my Trusty Gameboy Color?

In this video I take apart my trusty gameboy color piece by piece and get rid of the shell? Why?
-I thought I had a video of the original IPS drop in mod, I realized now that was for Gameboy Pocket and the DMG, not the Gameboy Color, my apologies.

Thank you, sir! I’m disappointed the first screen ended up with broken pixels, but the new shell and screen brought new-new life to the gameboy 😂
