Two team’s beloved since their WHA era, but now located down South, thanks to Gary Bettman, though not for lack of support from fans😢
I honestly miss this arena aesthetic without excessive board ads.
I miss everything about those days man
Quebec City deserves a new franchise and a fresh start. I'm willing to bet that even the Montreal Canadiens are on board with the prospect.
6:49 The GOAL!!!
Good times with Quebec franchise during 80s. Unfortunate it didn’t work out
There is more people at this nords game then has been for about 5 coyote games sadly Bettman hates canada
@@hollywoodhh5646Since he came in to power, not a single Stanley Cup here in Canada! Coincidence?? I think not! I think it was his goal to get rid of all the former WHA teams he could as well.
@@jayanxiety Yup, and the Oilers almost became the Houston Oilers as well. Bettman did nothing to save the Nordiques, Jets, and Whalers but bends over backwards time and again to keep the Coyotes in Arizona where they have no business playing at.
@@sjdrifter72 Nearly EVERYONE sees the Coyotes as a constant money-losing venture, yet nothing, not going bankrupt, playing in front of a Nearly empty stadium to lack of interest from people in Arizona, nothing would make Bettman accept a move to a more successful market. Thousand of Quebec fans can come out to support a bid for a team, have Don Cherry confront an uncomfortable Bettman about a team in Quebec being a "no brainer", build a state-of-the-art stadium and show a huge demand for professional hockey, yet Bettman ignores all pleas.
Any chance you have footage from the 1975 canucks-Canadiens series?
Boy, were the goalies crappy in those days
