Genjutsu works by controlling someone else's chakra flow. Luffy has no chakra to control. Therefore, Luffy cannot be affected by genjutsu. This doesn't mean that he can't be fooled with illusions. It means genjutsu which is an illusionary chakra based technique won't work. And no, haki and chakra are not the same thing. They're similar, but have separate and distinct attributes.

It's not imposing your will onto others like Conquerer's Haki does. If you super weak compared to someone else with high spiritual pressure your soul can literally die from it, and even in better circumstances your still feeling massive amounts of pressure. Attacks will also gey reflected back to you if you lack the spiritual pressure
NGL, Sasuke scales to Naruto who's midball planetary. He should be relative in speed to luffy or considerably faster. Luffy is mid ball Multi-Continental, high ball Moon lvl. Sasuke gets IQ, AP, (scales to Naruto), DC (Indra's arrow, Takemikazuchi-No-Kami, Spamming Chibaku Tenseis, Perfect Susanoo), Speed (They're speeds are about roufhly equivalent, but Sasuke's advanced precognition is going to give him the advantage here, similar to how Naruto was equal to/faster than Sasuke in their final fight, he was getting pieced up hand to hand due to the precog) Hax (Luffy's best advantage here is how hard it could be for Sasuke to damage him, but Sasukes got a more well rounded kit of soul manipulation, teleportation/dimension hopping, unvaquishable fire, telekinesis, illusions, his Susanoo abilities, every rinnegan path, etc), durability (should be equal to their APs, and luffy's is lower), Range (his long ranged attacks can travel thousands of kilometers, + interdimensional travel) . There are some hax he has like his ryou that there aren't really any answers for, but I'd still give the hax category to Sasuke due to the sheer variety his kit has and the potential complexity at which he could use it. Again, all of Luffy's basic stats are worse, and genjutsu or not, I think it'd only be a matter of time before Sasuke figures out a way to put him down. If he can't, then BFR works just fine, because push come to shove he could simply open a portal to some alternate dimension and toss Luffy in there.

@@morrborr8931 I disagree respectfully, I think when having these conversations about what hax truly is, we should consider the following Luffys hax include being able to manipulate his surroundings like rubber, and with this he can do things like grow to a giant, grab lightning, and make his fist as larger than the skull of a creature known as a continent puller, showing greater DC than Sasuke, making it hard for him to avoid luffys attacks, not to mention his future sight which currently can see around 5 seconds into the future, and if we equalize speed, which honestly we should because people get so bitchy about how either is 10000000 times the speed of light, like come on theyre both light speed at most. So that's an advantage as well. Conquerors Haki coating is also likely to break through a susanno, although this is debatable, also luffys endurance is greater than current Sasuke, who currently runs out of Chakra way too quickly to put down luffy, who can fight for days on end and. Sasuke hax include the rinnegan, which has limited use but could be used for surprise attacks that could be very effective, and genjustu is very strong and could potentially win but too slow for future sight to not see coming in my opinion, Amaterasu might work, but luffy has crazy and I mean crazy heat resistance especially in gear 5th, so while it does play a factor, he's gonna need more than just amaterasu, chidori doesn't do shit to current luffy, and overall his arsenal just isn't as versatile despite having a wider range of options due to luffys crazy endurance and durability, along with normal punches not doing much to luffy if we don't equalize Chakra to haki, but if we do that than how does conq haki affect Sasuke? I do definitely agree we need to see more of gear 5ths limits though, because despite it being canon that it allows him to manifest his imagination, we know currently this at most lets him do things like turn his hair into goggles, which arguably gives him the power to change the physical properties of matter, but this could also just be a gag and not have much practical application, but then you have his giant form and lightning grab, which are pretty impressive feats that show he can manipulate the properties of objects around him and himself to ridiculous levels. This form also drains a crap ton of energy however despite it showing that it gives him crazy invulnerability due to it enhancing the rubber properties of his body like crazy, as shown in the fight with kaido, and the drain is shown pretty quickly with how it wore him out in his rematch against lucci in the manga, despite him crushing lucci in the actual fight. He did recover pretty quickly but not quick enough to where if the form ran out against sasuke he could definitely lose, but if he used gear 4th snakeman i could see him outspeeding sasuke and that form post wano has way less drawbacks and lasts longer, despite losing the more crazy abilities gear 5th gives him. So overall i definitely agree that sasuke wins if the battle doesn't drag out, because a worn out luffy is much stronger than a chakra drained sasuke. But sasuke does have the hacks to win if luffy can't deal with them fast enough.

God Speed Killua is not getting stomped. First, once he realizes that lightning doesn't work on Luffy, he's just gonna speed blitz him with physical attacks and not waste anymore nen(lightning attacks), plus he has his knife like fingernails which is a counter to Luffy's Devil Fruit. He also has auto dodge in this form, so Luffy isn't touching him while in godspeed, without it, he is still pretty fast, but Luffy has a chance to hit him then. Insane strength, and that's WITHOUT using Nen to boost it, along with all his other traits. He has incredible stamina, durability, and pain tolerance. You forget how cunning he is on top of being an assassin. He is a tactician and to say that Luffy would outsmart him is just laughable. He has his Yo Yo's which are heavy af, and can be used for defense and attack, simultaneously. He's not going down without a fight.
I think a Luffy/Natsu battle would be way closer than people think and I think it could go either way in honesty I think they would be friends if they actually didn't fight 🤣, but I would wanna see that fight more than the others.

It honestly doesn't matter. These battles are pretty onesidedly in or against Luffy's favor. The first few Luffy absolutely smokes but kenpachi would mercilessly beat him down with or without Haki. There is a zero percent chance armement haki would even slow down Kenpachi's blade and Kenpachi probably wouldn't even notice if Luffy tried using conquerors Haki, his instincts are on the level of observation haki too. Kenpachi's specs are just way too high. Current Luffy would have been a even match for pre TYBW Kenpachi. Specifically around the arrancar arc where Luffy would likley outspec Kenpachi. Without Kenpachi's shikai or bankai armament haki would be strong enough for Luffy to avoid losing his arms instantly but against a sword user he'd still be at a disadvantage. If Luffy lands a heavy blow at the start he could win but the longer it goes on the more damage Kenpachi would pile on increasing his odds of winning.
Forget luffy, put all of their verses against Kenpachi, he would still come out as victor. That man lives for batlle. The swords are more effective against luffy than a normal human, because a normal person don't stretch while luffy does, which is a disadvantage for luffy, and if he meet a swordsman who is as strong as him like in speed and agility then luffy could easily lost both of his arms in the fight.

It's getting harder to agree with the Sasuke scaling because of upscale from the brouto verse because there scaling is just becoming absurd with how powerful characters are and will be. Then put the data books, light novels, OVAs and you have a Sasuke that in Raw Power should scale way above Luffy in Attack potency and possibly destructive capacity but it doesn't really matter if Sasuke gets AP. Although Sasuke has more hax abilities that would prove difficult to Luffy, this category goes to Luffy if he's goes to Gear 5 because of Luffy having a stronger hax then the many hax abilities of Sasuke in that state. They later on engage in a fight against Momoshiki the being that made Kaguya sweat bricks this same Kaguya could destroy her entire dimension with has Day and Night cycles in them and are time-spaces in there own rights with her own power. This Kaguya lost to Teen Sasuke and Naruto who just got six Paths. Then in the brouto Era Both Sasuke and Naruto at not even full power beats on fused Momoshiki who in the novels could destroy Nebulas and solar system which he did in base form because Kinshiki was fused with Momoshiki and still got beat up by weaked Naruto and Sasuke and before the fight Sasuke in his mind said me and the 5 kages are probably enough to take down Momoshiki which means he thought about this. NGL, Sasuke scales to Naruto who's midball planetary. He should be relative in speed to luffy or considerably faster. Luffy is mid ball Multi-Continental, high ball Moon lvl. Sasuke gets IQ, AP, (scales to Naruto), DC (Indra's arrow, Takemikazuchi-No-Kami, Spamming Chibaku Tenseis, Perfect Susanoo), Speed (They're speeds are about roufhly equivalent, but Sasuke's advanced precognition is going to give him the advantage here, similar to how Naruto was equal to/faster than Sasuke in their final fight, he was getting pieced up hand to hand due to the precog) Hax (Luffy's best advantage here is how hard it could be for Sasuke to damage him, but Sasukes got a more well rounded kit of soul manipulation, teleportation/dimension hopping, unvaquishable fire, telekinesis, illusions, his Susanoo abilities, every rinnegan path, etc), durability (should be equal to their APs, and luffy's is lower), Range (his long ranged attacks can travel thousands of kilometers, + interdimensional travel) .

There are some hax he has like his ryou that there aren't really any answers for, but I'd still give the hax category to Sasuke due to the sheer variety his kit has and the potential complexity at which he could use it. Again, all of Luffy's basic stats are worse, and genjutsu or not, I think it'd only be a matter of time before Sasuke figures out a way to put him down. If he can't, then BFR works just fine, because push come to shove he could simply open a portal to some alternate dimension and toss Luffy in there.

Luffys hax include being able to manipulate his surroundings like rubber, and with this he can do things like grow to a giant, grab lightning, and make his fist as larger than the skull of a creature known as a continent puller, showing greater DC than Sasuke, making it hard for him to avoid luffys attacks, not to mention his future sight which currently can see around 5 seconds into the future, and if we equalize speed, which honestly we should because people get so bitchy about how either is 10000000 times the speed of light, like come on theyre both light speed at most. So that's an advantage as well. Conquerors Haki coating is also likely to break through a susanno, although this is debatable, also luffys endurance is greater than current Sasuke, who currently runs out of Chakra way too quickly to put down luffy, who can fight for days on end and. Sasuke hax include the rinnegan, which has limited use but could be used for surprise attacks that could be very effective, and genjustu is very strong and could potentially win but too slow for future sight to not see coming in my opinion, Amaterasu might work, but luffy has crazy and I mean crazy heat resistance especially in gear 5th, so while it does play a factor, he's gonna need more than just amaterasu, chidori doesn't do shit to current luffy, and overall his arsenal just isn't as versatile despite having a wider range of options due to luffys crazy endurance and durability, along with normal punches not doing much to luffy if we don't equalize Chakra to haki, but if we do that than how does conq haki affect Sasuke? Does it nerf him enough to give luffy an edge, or does it not affect him, the thing is I'm biased and love one piece, so obviously I'm gonna lean towards luffy on this one, but that's mostly because I feel luffy hard counters a lot of his has jutsu, and overall has better strength and endurance, and like I said speed is debatable.

@@morrborr8931 Fair, however we can also scale luffy's speed to ftl, due to scaling with kizaru and him dodging light beams with ease, so i think at least it's fair to put speed at equal in my opinion. I do definitely agree we need to see more of gear 5ths limits though, because despite it being canon that it allows him to manifest his imagination, we know currently this at most lets him do things like turn his hair into goggles, which arguably gives him the power to change the physical properties of matter, but this could also just be a gag and not have much practical application, but then you have his giant form and lightning grab, which are pretty impressive feats that show he can manipulate the properties of objects around him and himself to ridiculous levels. This form also drains a crap ton of energy however despite it showing that it gives him crazy invulnerability due to it enhancing the rubber properties of his body like crazy, as shown in the fight with kaido, and the drain is shown pretty quickly with how it wore him out in his rematch against lucci in the manga, despite him crushing lucci in the actual fight. He did recover pretty quickly but not quick enough to where if the form ran out against sasuke he could definitely lose, but if he used gear 4th snakeman i could see him outspeeding sasuke and that form post wano has way less drawbacks and lasts longer, despite losing the more crazy abilities gear 5th gives him. So overall i definitely agree that sasuke wins if the battle doesn't drag out, because a worn out luffy is much stronger than a chakra drained sasuke. But sasuke does have the hacks to win if luffy can't deal with them fast enough.

God Speed Killua is not getting stomped. First, once he realizes that lightning doesn't work on Luffy, he's just gonna speed blitz him with physical attacks and not waste anymore nen(lightning attacks), plus he has his knife like fingernails which is a counter to Luffy's Devil Fruit.
He also has auto dodge in this form, so Luffy isn't touching him while in godspeed, without it, he is still pretty fast, but Luffy has a chance to hit him then.

You forget how cunning he is on top of being an assassin. He is a tactician and to say that Luffy would outsmart him is just laughable.

It honestly doesn't matter. These battles are pretty onesidedly in or against Luffy's favor. The first few Luffy absolutely smokes but kenpachi would mercilessly beat him down with or without Haki. There is a zero percent chance armement haki would even slow down Kenpachi's blade and Kenpachi probably wouldn't even notice if Luffy tried using conquerors Haki, his instincts are on the level of observation haki too. Kenpachi's specs are just way too high. Current Luffy would have been a even match for pre TYBW Kenpachi. Specifically around the arrancar arc where Luffy would likley outspec Kenpachi. Without Kenpachi's shikai or bankai armament haki would be strong enough for Luffy to avoid losing his arms instantly but against a sword user he'd still be at a disadvantage. If Luffy lands a heavy blow at the start he could win but the longer it goes on the more damage Kenpachi would pile on increasing his odds of winning.

The thing with sasuke is, is he doesn’t use genjutsu right away. Sasuke can’t use shidori cause that’s electricity and such. And this fight will most likely be very confusing for sasuke if he goes gear five turns giant, finds out physical attacks don’t work anymore and starts jump roping with some random object. Swords aren't "effective" on luffy,it's just that blades can cut through thick rubber somewhat like human skin and flesh.
The swords are more effective against luffy than a normal human, because a normal person don't stretch while luffy does, which is a disadvantage for luffy, and if he meet a swordsman who is as strong as him like in speed and agility then luffy could easily lost both of his arms in the fight.

It's getting harder to agree with the Sasuke scaling because of upscale from the brouto verse because there scaling is just becoming absurd with how powerful characters are and will be. Then put the data books, light novels, OVAs and you have a Sasuke that in Raw Power should scale way above Luffy in Attack potency and possibly destructive capacity but it doesn't really matter if Sasuke gets AP. Although Sasuke has more hax abilities that would prove difficult to Luffy, this category goes to Luffy if he's goes to Gear 5 because of Luffy having a stronger hax then the many hax abilities of Sasuke in that state. After that you have Sasuke durability with should matter to base Luffy to gear 4 Luffy. I say this as Chakra in amount and potency have been shown and mentioned to increase you overall capabilities or physical capabilities... it's one of the two. Sasuke if he were to slug it out with Luffy which is not the type of fighter that he is would be durability enough to survive a fair amount of attacks against Luffy. Now his speed is a weird one because off of feats and performance in the war and against naruto he showed to be faster to mftl by reacting or catching naruto by surprise but in the Boruto Era which is a far stronger and overall more skilled Sasuke has be said to be Naruto's equal who also got ridiculously powerful with another nine tails in the Boruto Era that pretty much amps what was already there. They later on engage in a fight against Momoshiki the being that made Kaguya sweat bricks this same Kaguya could destroy her entire dimension with has Day and Night cycles in them and are time-spaces in there own rights with her own power. This Kaguya lost to Teen Sasuke and Naruto who just got six Paths. Then in the brouto Era Both Sasuke and Naruto at not even full power beats on fused Momoshiki who in the novels could destroy Nebulas and solar system which he did in base form because Kinshiki was fused with Momoshiki and still got beat up by weaked Naruto and Sasuke and before the fight Sasuke in his mind said me and the 5 kages are probably enough to take down Momoshiki which means he thought about this. Which I would take into consideration because Sasuke a smart guy but yea
