That is what I call a very, very beautiful chateau. Not too massive, nice and simple gardens, a donjon (which was used for pigeons)and a farm part. It is to steal but that will be a task. The interior designers did a exceptional good job, marrying todays modern style, french classicism with former noblesse. Observe the fine windows. That floor in the kitchen is all natural stone, maybe local. Beatiful checquers parket floors. Very beautiful quality bathroom with grey marble accents. Incredible nice white stone French fireplace. Very sleek pool, looks like Italian. Those stairs at that pool are so so nice. Situated at the height of Bordeaux but more inland which means not too hot in summer. For me, a 10 out of 10. Bravo!
Why do Europeans install their pool so far away from the house ? I have seen many of these vids and the pool is always half a days walk from the house .🥵
I'd hazzard a guess that it's to do with building regulations and protecting the authenticity of the building...new houses are generally built with them closer.

Good question ! Probably because we have different life styles (don't get me wrong : I am not saying that one is better than the other ! 🙂).
