I was wondering, could you please upload a video of how the new Honda Civic’s engine sounds like when at idle? E.g cold start in the mornings.
If the battery is charged you hear nothing or the engine fires up, either way it’s silent.
Great car by all reports. Have not seen a bad review yet. But at $55,000 here in Australia it's a bit of coin.
That's cheap, doing my calculations Aus$ to British £ we pay the equivalent of $75,000 here for the Advance. And in Ireland, it's even more than that, and you call us whinging Poms lol.

at which motorway speed does it switch to "engine mode", say if I was cruising at 60mph would it remain more in "hybrid battery mode" minimize fuel usage or switched over to "engine mode"
I was cruising at 110-120kph and I noticed the ev sign when I looked at the cluster. But can't really say when it happens or how long was it for
Hey and thanks for the question. There isn't a specific speed as such that it will 'switch' to engine mode as this is automatic and based on constantly analysing the road ahead. The car will attempt to get into engine mode when cruising at higher speeds though - think dual carriageways and motorways. This is because the car will be able to deliver a more efficient drive at these speeds than in hybrid drive for example. Hope this helps 😄
Interesting what you said about wheel size. On the Honda website the Elegance has 17" wheels not 18.
Very good spot! The Elegance does indeed come with 17" two-tone diamond cut alloy wheels.

The front end looks better on the hatchback instead of the sedan.
Hood, Trunk and Windshield...lol
Can assure you 184bhp is not heart pumping 300- 450bhp is. But that said time to calm down I have one on order 👍👍👍
to be fair 315nm of torque is pretty impressive and that's more important than bhp.
A great car so smart
And no turbo to worry about breaking 😊
This car gets great reviews all over the world, but delivering just half a digital cockpit is really weird.
If you get the Advance model it's a full digital display.

You can't 'meet' a non-living object.. You may wish to say 'let me present to you, the latest Honda Civic..'
