- SPOILER WARNING FOR THE LAST 4 EPISODES OF TCW.
I've edited together all the last 4 episodes of TCW and ROTS. These are only the cut/transition points with brief top and tail for context. Can't be uploading the whole thing and upsetting The Mouse. Obviously please feel free to download this and use as reference/guide in any fan compile you might be working on yourself! - Krátké a kreslené filmy
Cool. My childhood is complete.
Me too and it was A good End for clone wars but order 66 was not so good as i toughz
Same
@@GGStrategicStudies I really want to see Lost Missions 2.
Cody Tschopp me too.
@@goldedrag111 having all of the episodes we could have gotten, like Boba vs Cad Bane, Yuuzahn Vong Scout Ship scouting out the galaxy to see if they are able to invade, not sure how they'd fit Ahsoka teaming up with Jedi and coming across an old sith temple underneath the jedi temple on Coruscant now but yeah, I would love to see a show that covers the inbetween for clone wars and rebels, show how Rex, Wolffe and Gregar all came to be together and remove their chips
How love how it fits in such a way the whole thing together really makes this war movie turn into a doomsday counter movie. Even if you are watching this for the first time there is an off feeling you get putting you on the edge of your seat. You realize something is off and then boom it happens. These episodes fit perfectly with ROTS.
Oh yeah yeah x3

@@somename2803 And not only that, it shows how brillant was Palpatine with his plan. He obviously knew that Maul would try to lure Skywalker to Mandalore, so that's why he ordered his own kindnapption mission to lure Skywalker to "rescue" him and then order him to kill Count Dooku.
I would totally make that Clone Wars Vader scene in as an After-credits scene in RotS
Currently it's not known when that takes place nor what planet it's on, it could be hoth for all we know and it could be after the rebels had fleed from the planet in ESB
@@Supersonicspyro Actually, judging from his lightsaber and his red lenses, I believe this takes place in between the first Vader Marvel comic series and Rebels, closer to RotS, where it would make sense for him to go looking for surviving Jedi and Ashoka.
@@Supersonicspyro It's not Hoth. It's the moon the Venator crashed on.
Hoth is always icy, while that moon has seasons it seems.
a star wars movie with a post credit scene sounds pretty baller
Episode guide on starwars.com says years
The fact that sometimes between shots, you can‘t tell if it‘s from the movie or the show let‘s you know how far and epic the animation of the show came. Sure ROTS came out back in 2005 but still season 7 of CW was an animated masterpiece. At least the last 4 episodes were! I have goosebumps watching this
And ROTS cgi wasn't bad by any means. This might be the best animation for a show I've ever seen
BronicornDude I was legitimately thinking the same thing
First four were also great
Everybody gangster till this is also removed by Disney.
pretty much yo!
You fool this guy has 70 alternative devices!!
Darrin Jones I wonder if every channel I watch is run by him then.
@The Eyes Of A True Demon well at least the mandalorian was a success
@The Eyes Of A True Demon when vader said "then you will die" this was my reaction: lie down, try not to cry, cry eternally,
The best and only way to end TCW
Alex Souster no the movie is shit
Alex Souster the writing and the some of the actors is shit
Alex Souster
It could be reworked and have a better script written.
It was a good idea, but the storytelling could’ve been done better, and overall the dialogue and acting could be refined as well.
The prequels had a solid idea, but poor execution the way I see it.
Fire Nation Soldier definitely
Yes and no....
It would be better if their was some thing in the clone wars after the event of 66 that explains what happens to the Bad Batch, Echo (since he doesn’t have his chip nor does Bad Batch), how Ashoka found a Grey Jedi and how the clones found each other in Rebels
They should make an extended version of ROTS combined with the clone wars. I would dump all my money into that product if Disney made that. Or if someone else edited it...
I have a playlist of other people’s videos on my channel called “SW3: RotS Extended” that has the movie + Siege of Mandalore + deleted scenes + novel scenes and other stuff to make it feel like a big ass Clone Wars episode, if that might suit your fancy 😂
I wanted to see ROTS redone in the clone wars series tbh
@@morsecode980 where can I get this
I’m trying to edit it and can send it to you if ya want

i really love the Aurabesh title cards glitching into Latin alphabet
yay lol, I did that just for you then :D
How did you do the Aurabesh glitches into the Alphabet? I would love to know how you did that.
I'm sorry to be the turd in the punch bowel, but I really kind of hated that. It goes very much against the grain of traditional Star Wars, the style of which both ROTS and Clone wars adhere to. That effect much more than the switching between live action and animation, really takes me out of it and feels fan-y. Nor do I think that the addition of the clone wars material would make the story too hard to follow that such location subtitling is necessary.
I thought it was a nice touch that the letters in Mandalore were done in the style of the title card from _The Mandalorian._
Me after watching the sequel Trilogy: “I was hoping for Filoni...Why are you here?”
iTzRichards AKA i was not privy to Kathleen’s plan. Turning Star Wars fans against it, genius
Because Dave Filoni is not a studio executive.
GameStation3 he should be though
@@lunarian9877 I don't think he'd be capable of it.
@@gamestation2690 Forget capability, it would interfere with the work he is giving us. The quality would probably lower, even if only a little bit.
The fact that there are moments where the music lines up perfectly between movie transitions is hauntingly well planned...great way to indicate what was actually happening in rots at the same time in the CW
This is proof that the Clone Wars show makes ROTS like 10x better
It really does turn an already sad movie into just the most depressing thing ever
@@carlycrays2831 Order 66 never used to bother me, seeing the 501st storm the Temple never used to bother me..but hell..after TCW, I felt like bawling.
It really does. I’m making my gf watch SW chronologically and order 66 hit her a lot harder bc what the clones and Jedi like Kit Fisto and Plo Koon meant to her
Seeing this all spread out makes me even more confident that George Lucas envisioned ROTS to be taking place over several months rather than a few days like TCW makes it.
Danny Cali why do you think so? Feel like it’s been established since 05 that the film takes place over a few days to one week. One example of why this is the case is that they used the same pregnancy prop for Padmé throughout shooting- two babies would grow a lot in a few months
Ya although the timeline seems a little bit loose, (especially when Padme seems to suggest she's just realized she's pregnant at the beginning) I agree think RotS is actually better if you assume it's not more than a few days. Would Obi-Wan really take weeks to locate General Greivious? Would Anakin by spying on the Chancellor for months? I overall prefer the Clone Wars Retcon.
I kinda like that it takes place over a few days. Everything happened so quickly with the Jedi masters all scattered. Once Grevious is dead, it’s where the shitstorm comes suddenly and everyone is caught off guard.
Christopher Lai well how long did it take the US to find Osama Bin Laden... a long time or how long did it take the Allies during WW2 to get to Hitler finally. Those things take time. The scale of the clone wars took over 3 years up to the beginning of the movie. It makes sense the movie takes longer. It just doesn’t make sense to me that Anakin is happy and giving Ashoka lightsabers and then a week later killing younglings. It would make more since if he saw Ashoka then went back to courasant and was given that assignment to spy on the chancellor and Anakin did that but spent a lot of time with the chancellor(much of it being off screen) over the course of many months which led him to choose him over mace windu and everyone else in that moment.
You can't compare like that. They have hyperdrive, bio-scans and whatever the information the force gives them.
If it were really months, I doubt the council would not act against the chancellor. Also, they put themselves in a vulnerable spot by scattering the council to different planets.
Palpatine probably took advantage of the scattered council, Yoda in Kashykk and Obi-wan not with Anakin, to bait whoever's left in coruscant to arrest him.
Imagine if Ahsoka actually caught up to him on that holocall. She would make anakin snap out of all that excessive worryied thinking. Ahsoka was already a better jedi at that point
Only issue I have is that I feel the time is all fucked up. I highly doubt order 66 and Anakin fighting Kenobi all took the same amount of time in between Ahsoka and Maul’s escape
it's totally fucked. I just went for the spread it out as much as still makes sense with the cross-references - so the pacing is half decent during a watch.
@@MrRazNZ We have no idea how long Ahsoka was hiding. In the show, it was like 2 minutes for pacing but we don't know
@@MrRazNZ I think she buried her sabers as Vader had his legs cut off personally. As Anakin "died", Ahsoka "died" too.
Well wasnt the Vader scene like a year later
I think it makes sense to prioritize the pacing. The audience should be treated with some respect to put the pieces together and imagine different scenes running at the same time.
5 minutes in and already I can tell that if this was a full length movie with everything from the last 4 episodes put into it. Shit would be omg. And so far dude you are doing great with this
And just add Clone Wars movie into Episode 2 Attack of the clones(after ep 2 is done of course). And it is perfect. I really mean it. Maybe I am wrong. And also battle of Coruscant from Clone Wars 2003 into Episode 3. Perfect story
Biggs2Loose link?
Biggs2Loose Thanks!
You know Dave Filoni and his team did a good job when the scenes from the Siege of Mandalore arc perfectly transition with the scenes from ROTS.
I guess Ahsoka sensing Anakin’s turn to the dark side happened kinda on a delay...
This is a fan edit the people need. I still need to rewatch Revenge of the Sith all the way through just to get a better sense of how things match up. Although I feel like the Venator crash probably occurred when there was still a healthy bit of runtime left in the movie. Anakin was probably still killing Jedi younglings while Ahsoka was falling out the sky, with the complete events of the movie maybe not being over until she buried everyone
And the time when Ahsoka and Rex were finding the bodies and giving the proper burial might took place the same time as the duel on Mustafar
They didn’t use ahsoka hearing Anakin Cut windu arm off. WOULDVE lined it up better
@@primecoconut4204 That could actually work if you were trying to edit the two things together.
The Best Star Wars show ever , I roller coaster of emotions, i will miss it , it was a masterpiece and amazing all the way through.
I love how you place the location names
Could you imagine if the Clone Wars team recreated ROTS shot for shot with The Clone Wars cast and spliced in the last season and basically made the whole thing the ultimate Star Wars movie. Like seriously, if you add in the final four episodes to Episode 3, it would elevate it from the fourth best Star Wars movie to either third or second, depending on how you feel about the original.
Plus 2003 clone wars clips that fit cannon and bad batch ep 1 stuff
The order 66 timing is off. Still, appreciate the video
it's fine, Ahsoka and Maul sense it 'after' it happens.
MrRazNZ I’m pretty sure Ahsoka senses it as it is happening
yea pretty sure both maul and Ahsoka are sensing it as it happens or a few minutes after cool video but I think it may be off on some points
Agreed. You stuffed up a few times. But I was really enjoying the idea of this video. Also, Ashoka's decent on Mandalor occurs the same time as the attack on the Invisible Hand.
Ahsoka timing is when she sensed Anakin chopping Mace's hand off
That's when everything began
I love the Location cards. Since it jumps around so much it’s useful. Also, I liked the Mandolorian font for the Mandalore card
Makes you understand revenge of the Sith better. And truly webs everything together
*The circle is complete, when the clone wars ended I had much to learn now I am the master.*
And as a post-credit scene, it should be TCW final scene with Darth Vader. :-))
you got it mate.
Pretty wicked how an animated series can make a 16 year old movie SO much better.
Until episode 8 and 9 ruined it, tbh 7 feels decent after I saw 8 and 9
3:35 was a really smooth transition!!
Now we need ROTS to become animated just like the clone wars to make a really big movie
Trenton Miller actually that might not be a horrible idea....it would fix the CGI and add voice lines that were never there....but I highly doubt it’ll happen sadly🤧
Spying on your history it would be amazing but your right I wound probably happen 😢
Trenton Miller tbh the clone wars art looks pretty realistic itself so I wouldn’t complain if someone just decided to drop ROTS with clone wars season 7 as a diff part of the movie
Spying on your history I totally agree
@@Dontcrybebetter yeah and don't have to see George's crappy wooden dialogue.
”as ahsoka’s lightsabers fell, so did anakin skywalker”
Imagine a 4-5 hour cut of revenge of the sith that shows the siege of mandalore, order 66 , grevious capturing palpatine, the full attack on coruscant, and actual footage of anakin killing the Jedi at the temple.

Brilliant video. Only thing I disagree on is Ahsoka dropping the lightsaber then cutting to Mustafar. We know that the Ahsoka lightsaber scene takes place quite a while after the ship crashes (they were able to round up all of the Clones' helmets from the destroyed ship in that time). I believe Ahsoka drops her lightsaber just as Darth Vader's helmet is being plced on Anakin.
Or, right after Obi-Wan leaves Mustafar.
Damn bro, so underrated video! U should be on the trending by now mate!! YT is on crack again by not putting u there
I honestly feel like Ahsoka woulda been the first one Sidious would give the execution order to, just because of how close her and Anakin were, or it was obi wan since well, he’s his master lol, then her. But I definitely think they were the first 2 he contacted, viewing them as the biggest threats to anakins dark turn
It's Obi-Wan...? It's shown in the film that Kenobi is the first, what's your argument for Ahsoka?
Mac Darf argument? It ain’t no argument, it’s just a thought.
And we don’t see Palpatine say execute order 66 to Cody till anakin starts his march towards the temple with the clones
yeah, jesse said that they were on special orders from lord sidious to kill ahsoka
She was on priority list but Rex resisted long enough to give her a chance to escape
I'd say Obi-Wan was the first one Sidious targeted because he was Anakin's master and could defeat him. Ahsoka was second because she had a close bond to Anakin as well and Maul was with her. Then Yoda and the council members followed by the rest of the jedi.
Only thing I'd change would be Yoda's weird hologram fading to the clone wars version, other than that this is awesome!
yeah haha it's a little janky - I just wanted a subtle way (not split screen comparison) to honour the attention to detail the CW crew put in recapturing the animation in a similar way.
@@MrRazNZ Thats the way I saw it, Good job my dude.
I thought that was the best part
Thought it was the best part lol
I agree, it was the best part of the video
Oooooooooooo I’m not gonna lie, the scenes of Anakin and Padme looking at each other across the city and Maul being taken aboard the cruiser was unbelievable.
This was excellent! The only change I'd make (if it works narratively/emotionally) is this:
The last scene, after the ship has crashed and time has gone by (in CW), I'd put at the end of the film, where everyone goes to their ANH starting positions (RotS).
Or alternatively, have that part alongside Padmé's funeral. (Thereby marking the death of the politicians, the soldiers and the death of the Era of the Republic and then ending with the hope of the two babies.)
yeah agree there are a few more 'creative' places that shorter, more specific video edits could play around with. For this full watch-through I just opted to not break it up too much and try and spread the events out as much as possible so as to not have 20-30m of one before a short scene from the other. Am thinking of doing a more creative take on Windu death/order 66 and possibly an idea around intercutting ObiGrievous fight with AhsokaMaul. All require a lot of work/time however which I'm short on atm!
@@MrRazNZ I've always felt like that scene at the end where Vader, Sidious, and Tarkin are overlooking the Death Star must have taken place months or even years later because the construction looks too far along, but they had to put the twins being placed with their adoptive parents at the end of the movie to just give it a little bit of hope. I do think The Clone Wars epilogue where Vader finds the wreck is years after the Death Star scene. Honestly, I think it's possible that TCW epilogue takes place as late as during Rebels, after he's already sensed she's alive, though most people seem to interpret it to mean that him picking up the lightsaber is his confirmation of her death.
I remember hearing in behind-the-scenes stuff that in the original RotS edit, Padme died, then Vader emerged in the suit, as two completely separate scenes, and chronologically, that makes more sense, but for emotional impact and storytelling, the birth/death/suit was spliced together. It also doesn't make much sense, chronologically, that the Yoda/Sidious fight was at the same time as the Obi-Wan/Vader fight, but again, for storytelling and pacing reasons, it made sense for it to be spliced together. Likely the Yoda/Sidious fight took place hours before the Obi-Wan/Vader fight, since Obi-Wan had to actually leave Coruscant to get to Vader, while Yoda only had to head down the street, and it would mean that Sidious would be on his way to rescue Vader that much quicker.
I agree, I think it would be interesting to spice together the Maul/Ahsoka duel with the Obi-Wan/Grievous duel, and I think there are a lot of ways you could edit the Windu death/Order 66/Ahsoka's conversation with Rex, etc.
Your edit is amazing! The great thing about the two separate, but intertwined, stories is that a lot is left up to our interpretation, and I think Dave Filoni likes it that way.
@@MrRazNZ I watched all of siege of mandalore and RotS yesterday and my only issue was it kind of kills the emotion in the clone graves scene because there's still like an hour left of RotS after it.
Love the title cards you added for the Planets! You can really tell a real fan
This was amazing great work
Thank you so much for this, currently using it on my latest chronological franchise watch through and it makes everything fit so well (and make sense of some odd lines in "Revenge...")
This editing is SPOT ON!! BEAUTIFUL
Wow, this is great!! Nice work
Imagine ROTS remade with the clone wars animation and the same voice actors as the show and with a re edit to include the last 4 episode of clone wars. ROTS 3 hours and 40 minutes version.
You have done fabulous job.
I've come back a few times to rewatch what you did here. I really think it would make for a great reaction for someone new to Star Wars or someone who had never watvhed any of it up to minute 8:15, as a blind reaction and even to get someone interested and going in the prequels, the Clone Wars and Star Wars as a whole as it doesn't give ways that much.
Great video as always!!!
Holy damn this was well edited 👍
imagining maul still there in the whole revenge of the sith, just, blew my mind a bit
Thx for this vid
no problem mate
We need a complete ROTS/CW finale edit 👌🏼
Great Job this video! Congratulations from Chile! 🇨🇱
I would love to see this all put together to make one whole longer movie, showing the siege of mandalore and rots events happening together.
Imma need the whole movie like this, now. That was awesome.
I love this. I was so confused about what was taking place when, even hypothetically. This is great 😭
uhhhhhh this is a freaking amazing!!! would love to watch the full duration version, it actually adds a much more complete finale to ROTS - reminds me more of Return Of The Jedi's finale pacing with the action spliced into the more personal drama and saber fights. Well Done :D
I’ve been waiting for someone to make this
I love how Knowing Anakin is heading off into Episode III and knowing the events of Episode III are taking place offscreen creates a sense of dread.
Omg I need the full cut. This has the best transitions I’ve seen for a thing like this yet
Such a nice touch
The CW animation is so good that you can smoothly move between it and the movies. I love it.
Been working on my own and figuring out what to do with the last episode was killing me, this is very helpful.
Wow this is really cool!
Palpating: We shall have... Peace
Rebels: We don’t like your version of “Peace”.
I think it’s be cool if Dave Filoni remade all three trilogies in the animation of Clone Wars and Rebels, and they could include little nods and references to the expanded universe (Like Anakin and Obi Wan talking about Mandalore to the council, or Leia making a reference to Zay looking for allies, or the Rebels mentioning Scarif). The over all story will remain the same, but they can maybe make some better choices in dialogue (such as the Infamous “In my mind, the Jedi are Evil”, and switching it out with something more like “The Council has lied to me. Palpatine didn’t.”
Man, When Mace called Ahsoka Citizen, all that was in my head was “Dude deserves what’s coming”
Should have been more cuts at the end but this is still amazing hope this becomes an option on disney+
Great job!
I get chills just watching all of these scenes and when I rewatch rots I’m gonna get even more chills because of what we know happens with Ashoka 😳🥺
“Execute order 66” Still gives me the chills.. It happened back when i was 8 with Ep 3 and now Clone Wars. They did a fantastic job linking everything!
The music and the feeling that was being shown when it was moving towards the moment of Order 66 was really heart breaking ngl.
When Sidious said "Order 66" my head dropped into my hands :(
If someone could combine the whole thing music and all I would pay 100s
Im Thanos look up rotssiegeofmandalore.edit on Instagram he made it
Thank you sir🙅♂️🙅♂️
I'll take the entire stock
Really interesting to put in perspective all of these scenes from the show and movie and how they were kind of flowing along with each other. Even though some parts kinda didn’t make sense or at least they played parts of the movie that were ahead of the show.
The location title cards are a real nice touch!
this is awesome! i hope someone edits the whole film like this. personally i would put the tragedy of darth plagieus right after the conversation between ahsoka and kenobi. and i would also end the movie with the CW vader scene.
No joke I’d love to see a cut and or remastered version of Revenge of the sith that spliced the two together. Will never happened because the different styles obviously but I might make one for myself with video editing magic.
This feels so cool because it’s like in WWII when you could have 100 different battles happening simultaneously all around the world, but we’ve never heard of them because we only know about the biggest one that occurred during that day.
missed the whole Anakin -Mace- Palp's " Unlimited power " / "Execute order 66" cross over as Asoka DID feel it and hear it.
Great Vid!
Brilliant, brilliant!
I watched rots yesterday, and it does have a different feeling to it now. It feels more complete
was hoping the order 66 in this transition points because its the most important scene, but i guess it's okay. You did a good job, thank you for making it
Great edit! The only thing I might change is to put Ahsoka looking over the graves later, maybe after C3-PO learns he is getting his memory wiped. You could also argue that it might work at the end in the film after Tatooine so the movie could be bookended by Clone Wars.
Anakin: Should I help my Padawan, or be with my Wife?
[Stay with Padmé]
[Help Ashoka]
Oh, it's beautiful.
Brilliant transitions. It doesn't make the acting in RotS better, but the overall tapestry of Star Wars has been radically changed for the better by The Clone Wars, and I love it.
Anakin and obi wan just causally chilling out not talking about Ashoka or mandalore during half of this
I don't know why but maul and Ahsoka's meeting cutting into the scene with Anakin and palpatine at the opera really hits hard. It's like one intense scene gets transitioned into an even more suspenseful scene
Great work! Still would love to see it in full)
"The paint job is a bit crude, but we think it gets the message across."
Now this is epic
Some great ideas and transitions here, there's just a few spots I would continue to work on, and balance out the audio between RotS and Clone Wars more evenly. Keep it up!
A full movie with this would be amazing
Nice man!
Thanks!
This does bring up the question of when the Bad Batch series of events took place...
This is some amazing editing. The only parts I dont think work as well is the order 66 moment and the climax of both films.
Great video better The Clone Wars & Revenge of the Sith! It is perfect!
Glad you enjoyed it!
almost perfect, I felt like the scene of ahoska dropping her saber and walking away could be part of the ending scene, right after or before padmes service.
I love the overlap of the yoda holograms
This video did good job. 👍👍👍😃😃😃
When you realize the siege of mandalore is just the four hour cut of revenge of the sith
Que buenas transiciónes LPM!! un genio.
“Like when there were no politics, no war”
Immediately cuts to a war based on politics
Now you should try fitting in the 2003 battle of Coruscant and the Jedi: Fallen Order Order 66 scene with this. Also I think Ahsoka's Order 66 scene should be moved to right after Yoda senses Aayla Secura's death which would also flow nicely as Plo Koon's death would take place right after the attempt on Ahsoka's life and he was her master making things more tragic, and the scene of Ahsoka and Rex burying the clones should be in between Obi-Wan leaving Mustafar and Vader climbing up the hill. And the Vader scene should be an after credits scene.
