  • A defensive stop for Boston College to hold onto a 3 point lead with 2 minutes left after a lengthy weather delay was enough for the Eagles to claim the 31-28 win over Holy Cross. Thomas Castellanos made his first start and threw for 204 yards and 2 touchdowns while rushing for 69 yards.

The BC players don’t respect their head coach. You can tell because they commit a lot of pointless personal foul plays. Hafley can try to play tough guy at his post game press conference today but it’s obvious the players walk all over him. PLAYERS WHO RESPECT THEIR HEAD COACH DONT COMMIT POINTLESS PERSONAL FOULS.

The ACC Refs screwed Holy Cross in the last 1:58 of this game...Sluka the HC QB races from his 40 to the BC endzone...He got a block from his teammate and had at least a yard,,,, (three feet clearance) between the last blocked and falling BC Defender and the sideline. and went untouched into the Endzone.....Where did his foot touch that sideline??? I don't see it!!! Why didn't the HC Coach request a review rather than accept that Sluka went out of bounds?....... BC is in real trouble this year..... they are slow and I mean wicked-slow..... Do they have a track at BC??...... Oh yeah, I remember Tom Coughlan removed the track to get more seats for football... Well.... the whole team could use a track facility right about now.... Next week will be FSU,,,,, watch FSU scorch BC offensively and defensively.... BC is neither fast enough nor aerobically conditioned enough to last more than 20 minutes with any of their opponents..... Watching Sluka vs BC made that abundantly clear. You can not blame Hafley for this. He came to BC because they offerred $3 million to coach their fat boys. Seriously, he's done the best he can. His fat boys need to get out on the track and develop some foot speed.... Oh yeah,, again BC does not have an outdoor track..... too bad

Whoever here is a BC fan and is attending next week’s game against FSU. Please do all of the following:
    1. Wake up and arrive earlier than usual
    2. Only wear gold from head to toe
    3. Don’t talk when BC’s offense is at work
    4. Boo FSU as loud as you can (when they take/enter the field and whenever they score)
    5. Stand up and be rowdy on 3rd/third down
    6. If you get something from concession stands only eat in your seats and not in the concourse
    7. If you have to go to the bathroom at halftime then go to the bathroom at the 2/two minute warning before halftime instead
    8. Take the MBTA instead of driving ♻️
    9. Stand up and sing along to “Mr. Brightside” as loud as you can

It’s going to be an absolute blood bath at Alumni Stadium. My prediction 77-7 FSU. BC is just a play away from 0-2, they are basically an FCS school.

Questions for alumni in general about these points: If you are an alumni, how applicable are the dressing and rowdiness rules? Asking because as a HC alum under 40, I still want to go to the front row of Fitton Field and bang that metal siding like a drum, but I feel like that’s the job of the students.
Also, I STRONGLY endorse the MBTA point for ALL attending the game. The Green Lines are there for a reason. Technically, the B, C, and D Branches of Westbound Green Line trains will get you somewhere within “walking distance” of the stadium, but the closest two are Boston College (B Branch) and Chestnut Hill (D Branch). Technically, you could also use Reservoir (D Branch) or Cleveland Circle (C Branch), but both of these will require a walk around Chestnut Hill Reservoir to get to the stadium. Remember to avoid the E Branch.

@@Chris-tq1jyThere's always one crazy upset per week in college football. Maybe it's FSU's turn to get upset. Go BC! Go Eagles! 🦅

@@nickblake6455BC will put up a fight against FSU. They fought hard against Clemson last year and Clemson won the ACC Title.
