I would have bought the unfinished crewel frame, added a needle with hanging thread and hung the whole frame on the wall. Beautiful as is and looks like a work in progress!
*Don't paint the bread box; too much work for that style because you have to completely take it apart to make sure everything glides once it's painted (paint not too thick) so it operates smoothly. Yvonne @GingerChickRehab has made over SEVERAL of this style bread box on her CZcams Channel. Watch a couple of her bread box makeovers to help you decide if the time it will take you is worth it to you or not. 😉*

Julie, I'm crying in my milk. I live in Chesapeake Virginia I'm 73 years old, I've been wanting to bread box like that only ones I find a real small but I can't find them in my area where I live and I'm waiting to get a new replacement and I really would like a bread box. I'm so glad that you've found the bread box for yourself. Keep up the good work I love watching you. I want you all the time.

The little sugar bowl and creamer are Franciscan Coronado dishes. They are from the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s. I inherited a large set from my grandparents when they passed away.
I think they need a clearance row! If things have been there a couple weeks mark them down! I love the deer! Paint the bread box and do transfers or paint inlay would be gorgeous. Thanks Julie
You're after my own heart! I just adore counted cross stitch pieces! I rescue them from yard sales and thrift stores for just a few dollars. I know how much work goes into those pieces. I just can't leave them behind!
That's not a lab, it's a Golden Retriever. Thrift stores near me are either desolate or nothing of quality😢❤
We walked into a GW off of I-77 near Blythwood, SC near the back of store, hanging from the ceiling was a bright yellow banner "CLEARANCE". Mostly clothing but it's the only store I have been to that had a whole clearance section
People must be cleaning house this fall because I went to the St. Vinnie’s today and filled the cart and could have bought more! Got lots of vintage, antique, craft items, wood, just cool stuff. Hadn’t been there in years!
My fave is the bread box. I wouldn't paint it just sand it down to the natural wood.
I enjoyed watching this but all I could think of is how I’ve been scaling down on “stuff” that’s not essential. This made me feel even better about not having the extra things to dust and clean.
I loved that grayish planter with the handles!

The tiny pitcher that you picked up at the end is restaurant ware. They would serve cream or syrup in those little pitchers to the tables. I collect them
My favorite was the cute little white creamer/pitcher. I also liked the apothecary jar.

I really love the score you got today. The sugar and creamer looks like my 12 piece wedding dinnerware set I got at my Bridal Shower. I was not expecting to get that many place settings, but I did not pick out a very expensive brand. I remember Desert Rose was really big back then, and now when you go in thrift stores, you see them everywhere.
I got and elegant white I don’t know the name, but it didn’t cost as much as Desert Rose. To me, it looked much better. You are buying the name who designed and painted Desert Rose, which looks like a child painted it. That is just like MacKenzie Child, you are buying her items because of he name. Her work is ok, but too high. Only for the rich. Some of it is weird. My opinion.

I'm always surprised, with your skill level, that you pass up on beautiful pieces that have a tiny chip. A wee bit of air dry clay and some paint can fix these tiny issues.
If you were reselling it as a stand alone vintage piece....that wouldn't be good...but to resell as a decor piece would be totally fine.
