I have many things to donate but don’t want to donate there anymore. They sure don’t make it as easy as going to a goodwill donate center. I guess that’s coz of all of the money they’re making, they can afford to be so convenient. I’m going to have to get to googling. 😂 that’s something I thought I’d never say.

I can buy brand new clothes for less than Goodwill. But prices are also high at St. Vincent de Paul. It is such a shame. 😢

I stopped donating to Goodwill. All the goodwill stores in my area St Louis Missouri are pricing items incredibly high. I’m on disability and can’t afford to shop at goodwill now. It’s pathetic and shows just how greedy the executive staff are. It’s all about the bottom line and definitely not doing good works as a non profit. They aren’t running the company in the spirit of a non profit.

Most items at Goodwill are terribly over priced these days. Think about it, they get most of their inventory for free yet the owner of goodwill stores pay some self over $5 million

I have a Goodwill a mile from my house. I don't shop there anymore. It's Mostly clothes, the rest is junk. You're right I couldn't believe how expensive it has become. Btw The CEO makes one million dollars annually. Imagine how many people could be helped for that amount of money.

I am sad that the Salvation Army stores in my area closed down. I don’t shop at Good Will they charge too much $$ for free items they receive & they don’t help anyone but themselves!

The ceramic piece with all the holes is an insert for an old teapot. I have some Hall china Autumn Leaf pieces and the teapot has one of those insert pieces.

The glass rolling pins was designed to put ice in it before people had marble a stone counter tops. The cold temperature makes the dough easier to roll out without sticking. I actually have one. I fill it up with peppermint candies at Christmas time. It's super cute.

This looks like some elderly person’s great-grandmother’s things that have almost been left as is. And I think some of those items should go to a museum! My grandmother had items like this and when she passed but most of them were donated. She was the family keeper of things.
