- ESPN has been through quite a wild week, with Malika Andrews being at the center of many of it. Andrews had been vocal in her disapproval of Stephen A. Smith & Kendrick Perkins bringing up the female involved in the Ime Udoka scandal. Additionally, the way she covered now Celtics interim head coach Joe Mazzulla has troubled many. With her speaking of his past convictions & criminal record so nonchalantly, many had a big problem with this (including myself). I’ve seen a bit of the Brett Favre situation but it hasn’t gotten nearly as much coverage as it should. The Ime Udoka story is everywhere and being paraded as such a huge scandal in comparison to actual fraud against some of the poorest people in the country.

I think the reason why sports channels didn't pick up much on the Farve welfare scandal is because while he is a former athlete, it's kind of more of a political thing and has nothing to do with sports really.
