9 total touchdowns and 2 interceptions since coming back from his injury and he was missing multiple receivers for most of it. He is the most talented QB we've ever had, if JD plays his cards right getting the right players to help him out we can see him take off in year 2 with continuity being in the same system.
Y’all need o-line and and WR’s maybe at free agency or the draft. But Zach has a bright future if you surround him with weapons

Zach showed great promise and maturity as the season went on. I think sitting on the sidelines and watching how the offense is supposed to be ran did wonders for him. He learned how to play NFL football. The first half of the season he tried to hit a home run every play and you can’t do that in the NFL. The arm talent is elite. I’m very excited about his future
The next step will depend as much on him as it will his supporting cast, meaning players, coaches, the front office and ownership. The opportunity is there, the potential is endless, and the expectations should be high for everyone. Can’t wait

I'm a rams fan. But I'd tune in and watch jets games waiting for the rams to play. I think your gonna see him take a major leap each year how josh allen has done. Games I saw he was having a tough time for many reasons but the talent and skill is there. Hes probably the best qb yall have had in a LONG LONG LONG TIME

I am an eagles fan and I fell in love with this kid last year especially when I watched him pay against my birds.. he’s only looked over because you can’t imagine a white russel Wilson .. WELL THIS IS HIM.. I have a bet that the jets will win 6 games or better this year and he is so fun to watch.. if they give him a defense and a number 1 receiver he will be in the playoffs VERY SOON

I've never seen someone with a faster throwing motion than this kid, it's faster than I can blink. 5 yards or 60 it's always the same motion. This kid is uncle Ricko! He can throw the ball over those mountains.
His highlight reel is already more impressive than the Jets last 10 Qb's.
Really , he attempted 4 passes the entire year that traveled 30 yards in the air. That definitely wasn't the best QB play in 10 years, it was actually the worst in 10 years.

Kind of reminds me of a rookie Russell Wilson. Put Wilson on that Seahawks team when Russ was a rookie, and they would have made the playoffs (not saying Russ is overrated. I think he is one of the greatest ever)

@James Smith take a look at the teams the Jets play next year and I see no reason we don’t win 7 games in the first 3 months and be in the conversation for a wild card in December. We might not get the wild card because the AFC west might take all those spots themselves lol

@James Smith definitely got two steals there, I just really think when you look at the roster there are no holes that can be used as excuses for Zach. The roster is almost complete and well put together at this point, it’s up to Zach whether they win 3 or 12 games.

That arm is insane and i dont think i ever see a qb juke so many damn players in his first season.. he makes them miss easily but all i know is Wilson has more great highlights and long passes down the field in 1 year then the lasts few jets qbs combined … the jets front office really built a team around this kid now so its up to him to show it and i really truly believe he will

From Texans game on all of the highlights were just Zach bulleting non open receivers with guys chasing him. This team was such a mess for the second half of the year bc of injuries. Next year with guys rnd him I srsly think Zach will be top 10

I really like this kid. I felt like all the people around me always bashed this kid but I guess they don't see what I do. Kid has so much talent and he's not afraid to sling it, even if he's throwing picks, which I respect. The ball comes out quick with a lot of velocity and we all know what he can do throwing the ball when he's on the move. The jets made a great choice, he's just gotta get some more reps in and I think he'll be dangerous for a long time regardless of whether the jets stick with him or not.
I agree, it seems as if there was a trend to hate on him or just blow him off. His game however is a sight to be seen. Kid has some amazing intangibles to work with.

Bear fan here. This guy has tremendous ability and I think he has a chance to be a fantastic QB. I wish jets fans would be a little bit more fair towards Justin Fields because he has every bit the ability of Wilson if not more and will be a stud. I think both QB's will be really good

This is the most important offseasons this team has had in long time. They have 2 top 10 picks and 2 more early 2nd rounders. They also have a ton of cap space.

You said it. This is such a HUGE off season for us. If Joe D can hit this draft the way it looks like he hit last year we should be in really good shape. We got Zack Wilson, Vera Tucker, M Carter(RB), Elijah Moore, M Carter (CB) and to a lesser degree but still with good potential in Pinnock and Echols. That is a damn good draft. Carter the RB surprised me with just how good he is.Gotta be honest wasn’t a kid I seen much in College so I didn’t know much but damn can he be really good. And then add in Elijah Moore, that’s 2 huge offensive playmakers for us. When is the last time you can say that about the Jets out of a draft? Probably never. Moore was on absolute 🔥before injuries unfortunately cut his season short. So now going into this draft we actually have more overall picks then we did last draft and like you said 2 in the top 10 and 2 in the second. What a great trade that was getting rid of Jamal Adams to Seattle. That was some return right there. And poor Jamal got his money but he was cracking on us as a Franchise and now he got to Seattle too late. Too bad for him. Now we’re on the up and up. Let’s go Jets.

Due to some critics, I still believe in The Kid. The game against the Titans was a confirmation to my intuition. His tight throws to the sideline was awesome that was very fun game to watch as an beginning of the 80's Jets fan to present.

Crazy arm strength, he's back peddling and throwing off his back foot and he just slings it a country mile. It sure would be nice to someday say, weren't we lucky not to get that first pick in the draft cause we ended up with Zach. I had high hopes for Sam, and thought he'd do better in Carolina, but he doesn't look any better than he ever did, so it seems like the right move to have moved on from him. And because the Panthers sucked, we get a great second round pick for him, so that'll help going forward.
If he can develop his pocket awareness he can succeed, and also he needs to get more arch on the middle passes, as coordinators will game plan their lineman to jump when he throws to tip them passes.

I say we draft Trey McBride, because he’d be a day one starter at TE. As for WR, i say WR1 needs to be first priority in free agency. As for running back, yes I agree we need depth, but Michael Carter proved that hes RB1 and it’s not close. We need a solid rb2 and rb3 tho

And as for Michael Carter he didn't show that he's a top rb by any means. He did well but much desired. A superstar rb would give Zach breathing room, making plays to open up the pass plays.

Only really got him a true #1 RB, but Garrett has true WR1 potential and will kill it with Moore, and while it's great that we have experienced TEs to rely on, Ruckert (an already great blocker) has some nice recieving skills that was never really used with OSU's stacked WR room.

I like Wilson I feel like he just needs time and to use his legs more he's great scrambler and improviser. Just gotta limit the mistake which he did after his injury which is odd
If he starts learning how to be a little more poised in the pocket I could see him being an all pro within the next couple of years. He has to get a better o line through if he wants to get comfortable in the pocket. He threw off his back foot a lot last year

A “terrible team” isn’t a top 3 defense with 2 offensive rookie of the year candidates who are among the greats at their position, a terrible team doesn’t have one of the NFL’s best coaches and no Saleh has been perfectly fine. The fanbase quit on him because he simply sucks. Your a casual if you blame his regression on the Jets, they did absolutely EVERYTHING for this kid to succeed and he just couldn’t deliver. 🤷♂️
