I listened to this album obsessively last summer in my cleaning job, crawling in monochromatic hallways with a mop, scrubbing bathrooms tile by tile
Step by step, until you reached a wall.
:')
listened to your mitski cover a while back and loved it! your music taste is elite
Sounds both horrible and wonderful at the same time
On your own too prolly, prolly got easy to do after a while
She has really good voice. Sounds live as good as a studio record.
this band is amazing
I just got tickets for next year, so I’m really excited now 😂
The way she hits the high notes live is crazy ❤❤❤❤
she does not miss a note. such a great singer
I love that they keep upping the level of shoegaze in their music. The contrast between Alec's noise and Molly's wonderful voice is a beautiful thing.
I hardly believe how well the singer works that whammy in the classic shoegaze style while singing. It's a lot harder than it looks. Maximum love and respect to Abby Rae.
My Bloody Valentine influences in the guitar lines. Very nice to hear! Beautiful voice and style.
This is one of the best performances I’ve ever seen. For this reason I religiously revisit this video
Sheridan in the back having the time of their life. Love it!
Love this album and band. Carrying the torch of fuzzy 90s indie into the future
I’ve seen them twice in the last year but I’ve never heard them play this song like this. Best version yet!!! Wish I could’ve been there live
''Always'' a great time listening to this band.
the vocals at 2:28 gave me such intense goosebumps, i love this song.
Happy, fuzzed out, blissful , warm blanket music. ❤ love it!
Amazing band. I wish I could enjoy ANYTHING even half as much as Sheridan enjoys the music they’re making! Gives me a huge grin every time.
Just saw this band play in Perth and honestly, I didn't know how exceptional they were before I walked in and heard most of these songs for the first time. They are extremely tight and on point live, and some of the tracks off Blue Rev are exactly in the slot ... the song "Pressed" is the closest imitation of the Smiths' earlier more folk-influenced songwriting I've ever heard, and it's a pretty packed field. Superb band
I love Alvvays and I love your comment.
Unbelievable. Sounds better than the record. Chills.
This is just incredible.
1:50 Molly's voice 💗
I love Alvvays
the band of my dreams
Watched them live in Jakarta and I was flabbergasted. The quality of them is there whether they're in studio or live
Such a breadth of fresh air with this experimental take on 80s arena rock.
Idk if I've noticed another band playing the same guitar with the same style as the lead and rhythm like that. Makes a wall of sound that blends together. Really sick
My Bloody Valentine used to do that.
it’s very Kevin Shields as commenter above me said
kevin shields's style of strumming =] ... loving it
I can tell you it doesn’t get any easier waiting for them to come play in a city near you. 😢
Love the guitar ❤❤
chills
Please 🥺 upload the full concert!!! 💙
It gimme da chill bumps
I was there and it was genuinely one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen/heard in my life
Far ouuuuuuuut, that guitar tone and those vocals! Holy everything. Incredible performance.
Watching Molly perform is something truly special.
If you have seen ALVVAYS once, your toes will alert you to upcoming concerts 🤔😀🎸
I’ve not seen them live yet, but I’m going to their London gig next week. Very excited 😛
I've listened to this set like 50 times already...
I love this band so much.
I like the Kevin Shields glide guitar style they play with :)
awesome!
love
The ending always gets me🚶🏽♂️
Amazing performance by great artists
私は、今月に東京のライブ行きます。この曲も大好きなので、ぜひ演奏してほしいです!
full concert please 😢
Great time to be alive
Mesmerizing.
Love the glide
❤
you can see that final drum fill hitting her through her in ears... wince
Wailing wall of sound 🔥
Cause they're alvvays...! :^]
cravvling in monochromatic hallvvays
Best band in the last 15 years
Cool drummer.
pueden poner toda la participacion de alvvays en el festival?
Guitar tones are amazing.
thanks
Sheridan just kills it on this live take.
I love you ALVVAYS ❤️
Great !!!
molly’s such a babe.
La banda es impecable, la guitarra principal me recuerda al sonido crudo y melódico de My Bloody Valentine!
consummate professionals
🪦 pitchforks
nice pair of Jaguars
'cause we're alvvays ❤
Wow
Просто огнище, а не группа
70s krautrock intro?
come to korea, plz
best
So they’re shoegazers now? That’s cool.
how are they so perfect? i don't get it
2023 aoty
Stupidly good
Nice. The Blue Rev material sounds much better live because to me the album has atrocious mastering/compression on it (overzealous production, perhaps), which is a shame as I enjoyed the sound of their previous LP's. 🙂
To each their own I can’t listen to blue rev enough
The vinyl release has a different mastering that is much more pleasing to listen to. See if you can track down a rip of it
@@MrMahn21 - Thanks for that tip 🙂
Pitchfork festivals are so monotone it’s actually funny
They’re quite average actually .
Done much much better by The Cocteau Twins and Chameleons ages ago..
This sounds literally nothing like Cocteau Twins
Weird flex mate
Living in the past eh
Nope
Amazing voice. She should ditch the guitar and really sing close with the crowd. That or get amazing visuals. For such epic music they look bored on stage
She does do a couple of songs without a guitar, and she seems really awkward without it.
who cares. they're musicians, not stage performers
In all the live videos I've seen online of them they do seem to lack a bit of energy. However, when I saw them live this past summer, it was completely different. It's sort of like when they know they're going to be recorded they try a little harder to sound "good."
They ended the set I saw with this song and played it much quicker back then.
