Why does most women who thrive to be independent and ambitious end up being divorced and loose thr peace of mind....
Bcoz a man still doesn't know how to handle a successful woman. Hence why the saying "there is a woman behind every man's success" is still successfully handed down the generations and not the other way round.
When a wife becomes more successful than her husband, suddenly she becomes a competitor in his eyes, not his wife or mother of his kids. It's sad how fragile a man's ego is, esp considering how women have chosen to quit jobs or remain in the shadows for her husband's success since time immemorial.

Feel most cant handle the sudden freedom they enjoy with being independent and think your passion or money is a priority than your family..
There r also men who work hard keep thr passion aside to keep the family running...It just isn't women who r making compromises in marriage...

@@mariak5582 It hasn't been very long since women started to work in higher positions, getting equal opportunities like men in this world; even then she handles both housework/family and her career, with men in the marriage contributing way way less towards the institution of family(barring monetary). It's quite natural for any human, esp a woman to rethink the necessity of a man in her life when she is pulling 90% of the weight. I hail from a middle class family and I see this situation everywhere around me, my mother was one too. I have alwys found a woman is quite capable of living alone while men can't. A man is transferred from the care of his mother to his wife's care. If you see a marriage where both the wife and husband working in successful careers and the marriage going succesfuly, there can be only 2 answers there...either she is a turning a blind eye to blatant inequality in terms of the incompetence of the husband or the man has healed himself and let go of the ego to not see his wife as a competitor but "his wife", who is a successful women and his pride. Career women choose divorce cuz of the learned incompetence of the man in her life. Who wouldn't want someone to love and to be loved. Nobody gets married to get a divorce, sadly understanding men are too less in this society. They don't seem to have the mental maturity to deal with the confidence and strength a woman gets after being financially independent and having seen a bit of the world. A man still thinks he needs to be the "be all and end all" in a women's life.
