I lived in Korea from 2007-2016, and hands down the Honey Butter flavor profile became all the rage with EVERYTHING back in the early 2010s. Everywhere you went, you would see this flavor on chips, breads, nuts, cookies, etc. It's amazing it's still so popular in Korea.
Those honey butter Calbee chips are my kryptonite 😂, I buy two or three bags every time I go to the Asian market. I love the corn soup chips too. Calbee also makes a seaweed flavor potato chip, which may not sound good to people, but they taste amazing, just like a nice savory flavor, not really "seaweed- y". Japanese chip companies really know what they're doing. 😋
I just came back from Okinawa and we feasted on honey butter chips and turtle churros during our stay several times..another one of my favs was kettle cooked Wasabi chips..yummo
I know I'd love the corn ones because I like savoury but my mom would love the chocolate. They both look so good, I eat with my senses like smells & textures. If it smells bad I can't get through eating them.
I love sweet corn anything! It reminds me of my childhood. Sweet corn is a mainstream chip / snack flavor in many Asian countries. My daughter loves the honey butter chips. I am not a fan but the turtles sweet corn, yes yes yessss

Calbee is a Japanese brand, makers of the famous Shrimp Chips. Grew up eating those, would fight my brother for the last few chips in the bag! 🤤🦐
The good part of ripping the bag down the side is you then have an excuse to eat the WHOLE bag!🤣
