900 rs is 111ps or 109 hp , the standard z900 is 125hp

big advantage for the 650 = price off course (close to half price ) , weight (minus 30 kg) , torque @ low Rpm ...if you have the money and be passionated for big powerfull bike, you would enjoy the 900 for sure !

If that 650 was a 4, it would be as beautiful as the 900RS.

Yes but at that point might not be enough distinction to justify having one or the other because a 4 cylinder 650 horsepower would put you much closer to the the 900 might not sell at that point one or the other

Yep Kawasaki made a big mistake, the 650 SHOULD have been a 4 cylinder, i may have purchased one if they did, so I bought the 900 instead

Z900RS puts out almost 110hp, not 125hp.
