Great video! I pressure can, but have never water-bathed. I'm intimidated by it, but you make it look easy!

Great video thank you 😊👏why can't the jars touch when in the water? Is it just so they won't break, or another reason? Can you also try this with shop bought tomatoes? Do you have to use the drop of hot water in the filled jar, to check for air bubbles? Or can you just use the tomatoes own juice for that purpose? Thanks for sharing 😊🌼🐝

      Hi there
The jars shouldn't touch so they don't bang against eachother, also with each one surrounded by water, they will heat evenly.
I use the hot water on a cloth to clean the top of the jar so there's no bits there than can go mouldy or break the seal.
Yes you can use shop bought tomatoes.

Hi Karen, Yes a super video, I didn't go to that length but you did the right thing and more or less correct, I used a teaspoon of citric acid in the past I have used 2 teaspoons of lemon juice, again a great video, Take care.

Hi Ronald thank you for watching.
I wanted to help others to preserve their tomatoes and save freezer space. And I wanted to double check I've covered everything as there's usually a lot of questions on a preserving group I'm part of.
