- Newcastle beat Spurs 4-0 at St James'Park to ensure their push for European qualification remains in tact. Newcastle now sit 6th in the Premier League and could still catch Spurs, but will they? Isak scored 2 more goals along with Gordon and Schar to make it 3 wins in 4 for Eddie Howe's team.

Newcastle fans a month ago “Howe has no plan B” spurs fans today “ange has no plan B” Maybe us as fans need a plan B “think for ourselves instead or parroting off what the media feeds us” 😂
This sure has been an unprecedented season given our injury record, Tonali suspension and PSR restricting us from being able to spend so to qualify for Europa League would be one hell of an achievement. Hopefully we have some wiggle room to bolster the squad and go for Top 4 next season.
Yes you’re right. It’s been mad what we’ve gone through, but the signs are there that we’re still on a good path. Hopefully next season we have fewer injuries and can challenge the top 4 again.
6th or 7th , and subsequent European qualification, would represent a good season for us considering the never ending injury crisis , fixture pile up and small squad . Looking at the run in for us and our rivals : win our two remaining home games and get two away wins ( including at Man U) and we will probably get sixth . But we will need Isak to stay fit , and for the squad to have no more injuries generally (which is asking a lot it seems).
Imagine Joelinton - Sven - Willox - Miley - Sandro - Minteh - Pope + 3 or 4 new players for next season BRING IT ON.

For Newcastle to catch Spurs, they need to win every game from now on, Spurs have Burnley and Sheff Utd in the last 3 games, that would put them on 66 points, Newcastle can get 68 pts if they win all of their games.

Think spurs will get 7 points, but can't see us winning every game to take advantage. Still given everything that's happened this year 6th would be amazing. Man utd probably have the easiest run in.

Sorry but no we won't. If we win every single game, they still only need 9 points from their 6. Considering well likely drop at least 2 points and probably 4, spurs and villa will only realistically need 6 points each to look in 4th and 5th. If one of them absolutely collapse...then maybe us or utd can pip em but its highly highly unlikely!
If we are going to aim for 5th we can also aim for 4th mate!!
I think because of spurs fixtures there’s a tiny tiny chance of 5th. I don’t think we’d catch Villa though as they’ll get too many points.
@@iansmithfootball not sure about that mate! Villa could maybe only win 3 more games and lose the rest of them as they have some tough fixtures, but we will need to win every game we have left to have any chance!
