Love the idea of removing the rails and replacing with rod holders! I feel like the rails would get in the way of fishing. Was not sure if it would be possible to remove them cleanly.
@@bradenwomac5000 yes where the screw holes were we just drilled out and place rod holders. It’s nice to be fighting a fish anywhere on the boat and can set the rod in or the net.
I have the same boat in a 2007. How hard was it to install your aerator pump for your livewell? I'm getting ready to put one on mine and would like to know where you purchased yours and if it was an easy swap. Thanks and btw that was a great idea adding those extra rod holders there the rail used to be
Yeah you can get any Aerator for it, I got mine from cabalas and it pumps fine. The way mine is installed is with the wash down pump, I have my main suck line that sucks the water from the lake, I have a T in there where one runs to the Aerator and the other runs to the wash down pump

I have a 2004 very similar that I purchased almost a year ago. Nice boat, just wish I had a T-top instead of bimini. You will definitely enjoy it.

Just bought a 2006. It has a bimini top. Wanna eventually get a t top. What is yours?
Johnson went out of business years ago, and Suzki is made in JAPAN!!! Not that same!!!
