You cannot convince me that Yappening and all this banished-spartan hybrid armor wasn't meant to be another season... we got 3 passes and more than a season's worth of banished themed armor that could have been in the store AND battlepass.
Thing is that I would have preferred more Mk IV items because I didn't like Spirit of Fire and I only bought 1 set of armor.

@@LostODST I really don't like the "Halo Infinite is dead" crowd. Because it is just an excuse to shit on a game that finally got to a stable point.
But Halo Infinite is kind of like Latin. Yeah select groups still use it, the major Institution still acknowledges it (the church/343) and it is cool and all. But evolution and iteration is over.
Some players still play it regularly (I occasionally play some matches here and there.) And we technically get a "true" update every 1.5 months (bigger ones being every 3rd month) but we get 1 major thing, and an obligatory timesink while everything we actually want raises in price again.
Juggernaut and Ninjanaut is cool, and so is the new map. But it is a far cry from the end of Season 4.

I personally prefer this set of rewards. I’m rather happy with the MkIV I got now, and after the Eaglestrike and Yoroi (which I really want the Kabuto helm), Raksasha is the third core I need new rewards for the most and with those I can fully equip it now.
@LostODST If you ask me. THANK FUCKING GOD they replaced that with Anvil and the Assailer set is BANISHED!!!! And that’s a score on my end. Still I’m happy they replaced Surplus cause Surplus is just bare bones like not that much.

I don't much favor the pieces with the edgelord blades on them, but the chest & the hip look pretty clean.
Mostly just hoping the next exchange refresh has the rakshasa event passes from season 2 since I skipped most of them, though.

not huge on the helmet but some of the other pieces look good
Spartan points are absolutely awful, even person who’s played the game the past few years already owns everything in the SP shop so it’s a pointless addition designed for new players so seeing them be the new filler item that bloats the operation passes ruins them
they definitely need to adjust the rate of spartan points you can get or make it per match
They most likely delayed the MK4 armour to when the game gets quieter, or when they add more to it replacing it with a set they had ready to keep player interest

Honestly I think it would be a major win if they include all the armors prices and coating in that were leak into the one big Battlepass so we have some honest variety as we used to get instead of buying them from the store or only have one set of prices🙏

So they changed the operation from mk4 to banished, probably the mk4 stuff sold better so they will make the mk4 armor a store bundle

They keep dumping spartan points in every pass and weekly reward, but we have nothing to spend them on LMAO. Just a way to pad out tiers so they don't have to create more cosmetics for free FFS. When are they going to update the shop with new items, so we have something to spend these damn points on?

Haven't touched Halo Infinite in months, waiting for Spartan Surplus so I could work towards some armor that actually resembles Halo...and now that gear has been replaced by this goofy Assailer gear? What a let down.
