  • Over 1 million Tibetan children have been separated from their families, language and culture at China's state-run boarding schools in Tibet. These schools target the most vulnerable and impressionable minds and seek to make them loyal followers of the CCP. The goal is to sever the Tibetan way of life and cement China's control over Tibet.
In this Tibet Talk, we'll speak to Lhadon Tethong, director of Tibet Action Institute, an organization that has been raising awareness about the boarding schools. In conversation with ICT President Tencho Gyatso, Lhadon will discuss the impact of these schools on Tibetan families, the response from the global community and what needs to happen next.

It’s an insightful eye opening audio visual informative and educative conversation that sheds light on the so called CCP managed colonial boarding school in Chinese occupied Tibet aimed at political indoctrination of impressionable young Tibetan children. Thank you two proud daughters of Tibet and the pro truth host of the program.

I have a beautiful photograph of His Holiness the Dalai Lama smiling at the top of my stairs for the last 35 yrs and only once my old husband fell at the bottom of the last stair but he jumped up like a two yr old, like nothing had happened at all! LOL. His photo is a blessing! Thank you Dalai Lama! Political war against children is horribly! Give the Tibetan children back to the parents! This is of utmost importance!!!! Thank you all for helping Tibet! They help everyone by their prayers even though you may not be aware of this.I am now an old white woman and they sure as gold have helped me too!

Forget about inside Tibet, the Tibetan language and culture outside Tibet or in exile is on the verge of disappearing unfortunately 😢 Cultural extinction.

The Chinese boarding schools for a huge number of young Tibetan children where they are taught in Chinese language about everything about, especially the Chinese Chinese Communist party but nothing about Tibet except nasty things that Tibetans are accused of, is a very serious matter.
But comments supposedly from Tibetans are very disappointing. A line or just phrase says almost nothing. What's the hell can these symbols express !? These commentators are lazy or non-serious and probably they don't know what to say for lack of proper knowledge about the subject. Above all it's the stupidity that drives them to speak uselessly. If they don't know or not interested in this grave matter why can't they shut up. Otherwise people get an impression that this matter doesn't deserve serious attention.
Improvement or silence in future is the sensible course, isn't it!!?

Hello ; Gyaltsen la . I read your comments and I thought you did a good job of responding to the conversation as you felt deeply for our shared cause. I am also sorry by the way ; that you felt disappointed with the others who aren’t as expressive . That happens in a free world where we all have the freedom to make choices . So, please don’t be disappointed by others’ lack of participation so long as you did your side of the best . By the way ; you wrote well . Thank you. #LoveTibbet
