What if patients no longer had to adjust their breathing to meet the demands of a CT scanner, but their breathing would control the CT scan?
Meet colleague Christian Hofmann, an innovation leader in CT and radiotherapy and one of his ideas was just that. He developed an alogrithmic solution enabling a CT scanner to sync to a patient's breathing for better scans, which in turn can make the treatment of lung and liver cancer patients more precise.
